ROYAL KITCHEN — Restaurant in London

Back in this February, I stayed the upper floor of this restaurant for tour, and went the Royal Kitchen to eat dinner. In there, the staff recognised that I was staying the upper floor and said "Water is leaking from your lodging". So, I gave him lodging owner's number and I went back with wrapped food. Obviously, the food was good, But the service he gave was terrible. I couldn't forget the situation that he pushed the bell until I wake up. At that time was over midnight(Of course, I was sleeping). He called on my lodging with plumber. I was so upset but I couldn't give the any word. Because, I was not confident in arguing in English and knackered from jet lag. About 10min later, they went back, and they didn't apologise while I was stayed. Yes I know, approximately 8 months passed, but I get so upset when I think of that moment. Been coming to this fine establishment for just over 3 years in a regular basis, I cannot believe I’ve never once left a review.

There is many negative reviews below, what people do not understand is that you pay for what you get. You need to understand why the prices are high, it’s for the fact that the cost of living has gone up along with annual inflation. Then there is overheads etc…..

So anyhow the food and customer service here is one of the best within The City, yes there are times when something is not right but it is easily compensated by the management and that’s part of everyday genuine human mistake which they genuinely apologise for.

As for wheelchair users like me, the whole restaurant is accessible and they do have a toilet too. Only issue might be a tight squeeze though if my bigger than normal prescription wheelchair fits in then...

My husband and I dropped in here around 7:30 p.m. this evening. We were a little hesitant because it's a small establishment, and my husband is not a fan of Indian food, so we weren't sure we would find anything on the menu for him. However, we are so glad we gave it a try. We both loved it! Where else can you get real Indian food and a classic burger and fries at the same spot? Also, as a vegetarian, I found several different options on the menu. I chose the mixed vegetables biriyani, and it was delicious. The young gentleman running the place was very helpful regarding answering my questions about the menu choices. He also checked back to make sure we both liked our food. And the prices are so reasonable. We would love to take this little gem back to the States with us!...
