Good evening all I visited the Draft House Seething Lane site with my friends and their kids on the 7th of December 2019 at 7.40pm. Looking forward to welcoming my friends from another country, we decided to try for the first time your famous restaurant which was very close to Tower Bridge. The dinner started in a very disappointing way when we were served some tasteless cold fluid which was passed off as Aperol Spritz, when I called the person behind the bar which happened to be the manager of the restaurant (her name was Sophie) and explained how watering were the cocktails she refused to do anything about that, which was shocking especially here in London were Customer service is one of the most important asset of a business so I repeated myself several time and after arguing with her until the rude and very confrontational manager at last decided to do something about it( which was to empty half of the cocktails and pretend to “fix” the cocktails. Obviously at that point were tired arguing with the Manager and we just decided to pay and leave the restaurant as soon as we could. The whole situation was so embarrassing especially because we had kids with us, that my first intent was to leave the restaurant but we had to kids with and they were so tired and hungry that wasn’t even an option. The only plus side was the well-mannered waitress Carmen which she profoundly apologies throughout the all evening but unfortunately for us she wasn’t in charge so there was little she couldn’t do (but we still appreciated all her effort(bless her heart)! The starters we ordered mac and cheese balls and teriyaki with sweet potatoes fries were nice plus the chicken smoke burger and the kids chicken nuggets was well received from the kids. The whole situation was disappointed that all the adults on the table (4 of us) lost appetite and as soon the kids finished their dinner we left the restaurant. Please look into this matter and I hope you will take necessary actions. Hopefully in the near future the bad service is able to match up to the quality...

Booked this venue for bottomless brunch as my husbands firm had hired out the whole place a while back and he said how good it was.

Had bottomless brunch at this pub today with friends. Our friends were running late due to childcare so the staff were very friendly and kindly let us start the experience half an hour later and we purchased a drink between this time.

Food was ok. Not the best but edible and nothing like the pictures online. I had scampi but no lemon included and just looked thrown together. No other sauces offered and we had to get ketchup from a few other tables as ours had run out completely so had our neighboring table.

We were told to go up to the bar and order more drinks when we were ready for refills rather than wait for floor service ( which appeared to be non existent ) when we had next to no drink left as said we would get them quicker.

We did this and on a few occasions it would take 10-15 mins for another drink to then come over so a fair bit of time in our slot was probably wasted waiting for a drink. I think they were probably understaffed although even though the rugby was on it was relatively quiet.

Our dinner plates were sat there for ages after we ate so we cleared these ourselves by taking the dirty dishes up to the kitchen area.

We got value from the brunch but this is the first time we have sat with empty glasses for sometime when doing our bottomless brunch experiences and the two hours was stopped on the dot despite the delays in drinks coming over. Usually you have people keeping an eye on paid bottomless brunches and not even having to ask for more drink. Nice but wouldn’t recommend. Much better bottomless...

So this is a place that is best for drinks. Food however isn't the best. Or maybe to be specific, vegan stuff isn't the best. So let's begin with the starters. They have buffalo chicken wings and buffalo cauliflower wings which they call cauli-wings (how on earth can cauliflower have wings). In their menu both items were listed next to a little banner that said "2 for 1 on wings every Wednesday". But that apparently doesn't apply to cauliwings. That was a twist we realized while ordering. However, being curious I ordered the cauli wings anyway, a choice I would soon regret. I also ordered the Korean seitan burger which was the only vegan burger on the menu. There is a vegan salad and a vegan hotdog too.

The burger was very good and I really enjoyed it. Especially with a touch of the hot sauce that they leave on the table.

Now to talk about the cauliwings, it was bad. Deep fried battered cauliflower. The batter they used wasn't seasoned. Instead they sprinkled some rock salt on the dish and gave buffalo sauce on the side. Without dipping in the sauce the cauli wings were just tasteless and dripping oil. It was like what Gordon Ramsay would talk about America wanting to invade. I felt sick by just looking at that. Had it and felt even worse.

I got a migraine after having our lunch. And I am writing this as I am feeling slightly better. I have given two stars as others who came with me are alright and had mostly the non vegetarian stuff and beer. Not eating...

We went here for dinner as this pub was basically next door to our hotel. When entering the room, you immediately felt like being in a “beer hall” (in a positive way!). Sat down at a table and figured out there is an option to order and pay online directly via smartphone. Waiter came before I ordered online, so we chose the traditional way of ordering. Food (two burgers) were absolutely fine, sides rather small but still enough. For drinks we had a beer an Aperol spritz, which lacked a little bit of aperol given the relatively high price for the drink. Other than that everything was fine. caring staff

This place was previously the Draft House Seething, but is now part of the BrewDog chain, despite them having a much larger place just around the corner on Great Tower Street. To me it’s a shame when one chain swallows-up another, reducing competition. This place has a very good beer selection, as you would expect, but it’s a little too ‘big screen, big food’ for my liking and I find the outside decor really vulgar-looking! Just personal preference as I much prefer more traditional pubs, of which there are many fine examples in this area.
