I recently had the pleasure of visiting Soul&Grain, a delightful coffee shop that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional service provided by their staff, particularly Anis. From the moment I entered, Anis greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel incredibly welcome.

Anis's polite demeanor and genuine hospitality created a wonderful atmosphere that set the tone for my visit. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!! Gave almond milk instead of oat milk. Be careful if you have allergies! I trusted the reviews, went here for morning coffee and shouldn't have. I ordered an oat latte to take away.

The cafe that was served was so hot it burnt my mouth (so forget the 'barrista' claim on the window, it's no better than Costa or Pret). The heat meant I couldn't taste anything. I thought of saying something but I felt there was no point: I was the one making the mistake to think this was a proper coffee place when it's just a train station pit-stop, so I left.

But once it had cooled down and I could actually taste it, I realised they had put it ALMOND milk instead of oat!!! Not a big issue in my case. It's just not my preference at all and I didn't enjoy the coffee (which of course also tasted burnt and bitter from the heat), but for anyone with an allergy this could have been disastrous! I was already on the tube then but otherwise I would have told them. I don't usually go there but will try to mention it to them next time I come by Victoria.

And in the meantime I'm writing this here as it's sufficiently important to make sure they notice (if they read their reviews at all), and that people with allergy pay extra...
