I recently visited The Real Greek, and I have to say, it was one of the best Greek dining experiences I've had in a while! The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tried was absolutely perfect. We started off with the houmous and Greek flatbread, which were a match made in heaven. The houmous was smooth and creamy, and the flatbread was warm and chewy - the perfect combination! The grilled aubergine was also a standout - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. But the real stars of the show were the grilled octopus with fava, pork belly, and lamb kefte. The octopus was tender and flavorful, and the fava was a delicious complement. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the lamb kefte was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. And let's not forget the chips - crispy, fluffy and the perfect accompaniment to our meal. Overall, The Real Greek delivered an outstanding dining experience. The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. If you're looking for delicious Greek cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, The Real Greek is definitely worth a visit!

Having previously had a nice meal at the branch in Stratford Westfield, I wanted to try their Soho branch near my work. We were looked after by Laura, who was lightning quick with our order, and also suggested we go for Filoxenia Menu, which was £24 per person and was a mixture of starters, salad and main courses. For our starters, we had nice warm flatbreads with Tzatziki and Houmous dips, which were excellent. For our main course, we had one lamb and one chicken skewer. Drink wise, my friend had a Mythos beer, and I had the draft Alpha beer. I would much rather have had some chilled Retsina white wine, but for some bizarre reason, it wasn't on the menu. This is why I only gave 4 stars for the food. I was recently in Greece and Retsina wine is still very popular there. Please add Retsina wine to the menu.

Dined at this restaurant tonight. The food was good for the price and our server Amanda was amazing and very sweet, she helped us choosing the food as it was our first time there and was not familiar with the menu. The only negative is the supervisor, we don’t know her name but she really needs to calm down a bit and learn to approach customers nicely and professionally rather than asking for codes whilst they are still eating, above all expecting the service charge after such rude behaviour. All other servers seemed very nice besides this supervisor , maybe that’s something the restaurant can look into? Maybe some more training for good customer service so next time she doesn’t interrupt customers abruptly in midst of having their meal as if they are about to dine and dash.

We came to this branch today, 14/02/24 - Valentine's day, at 4:18pm.

Out of about 30 tables, only 3 were occupied.

Young Asian, I'd say Indian or Srilankan girl offered us table for two. However, as it was so lit above the table, we asked for a different one.

She offered us one in the middle of the restaurant, where I was really uncomfortable, as I felt like squashed in.

I asked, if we could go to the other one, as this one is right in the middle and I don't feel comfortable here and the one for two people she offered originally, is too lit and as I'm sensitive to light, I said it would make me feel VERY UNWELL. She was made aware of my condition btw.

She said that they cannot do so, as we are only 2 and table is for 4.

Then she added, they have reservations for the rest of the tables at 5pm.

My partner asked, if for all of them? We're talking 27 tables or so and she snapped that yes.

We even said, if we can't sit somewhere without being made unwell, we may need to go. If she could give us one on the side, without the light bulb right above our head?

She just looked at us, as if no life was left in her.

Given she could not be bothered to even try, to give us better table once we explained to her about being made unwell and me saying the light would make me very sick, we got our things and decided to leave.

Throughout the whole experience, she gave an impression of not being bothered. From the moment we walked in, till the end.

When my partner and me said thank you, bye, she did not even reply.

So we had to repeat ourselves and we got snappy bye.

I'd suggest, improve your skills young lady.

And to the Area Manager, tell your staff please, when a medical condition is made known to them, to be at least more emphatic and not lie about 27 or so tables being reserved all at 5pm simultaneously.

We ended up in a different restaurant, and spend not a little money.

Manners cost nothing, and this silly girl had none.

We love Real Greek, but this branch is being let down by this unprofessional individual so we won't return to...

We were very disappointed with our visit to The Real Greek. The member of staff that showed us to our table appeared rushed and under pressure. We were ushered to our table. The choice of Greek food was very limited. I opted for flatbread and moussaka. My wife and grandson shared a meat selection. My flatbread was more akin to a burnt offering. I removed the burnt bits and placed them on the plate they arrived on. The plate was almost as full as when it arrived. My moussaka had the look of a portion of Shepherd's pie. It was very bland. The meat selection shared by my fellow diners had chicken which was also suffering from 1st degree burns. The meats were placed on a giant mound of chips. Staff including the person who has showed us to our table, passed by us many times. Only toward the end of the meal were we asked if everything was OK. We felt complaining at that point would be pointless. When they served up this food at the beginning, surely they could see it was not of a good standard. They must know that it was not up to the standard of other photographs on reviews. That is what we based our visit on. It was a very disappointing meal and we were dismayed to find a service charge was added to the bill. It may have been better if they had advised us of the charge. Mandatory or discretionary. Bills are difficult to read in lower light. I always use a tip as an appreciation of service and quality of food. Both we found failing at this visit. We must have visited on a bad day, as other reviews praise both service and food. The meal was expensive considering the standard of food and service. We usually photograph our food for reviews. We'd had a long day and...

Took mum here for dinner and after 1h15mins of being seated we we’re still waiting on our drinks! It took me having to prompt the waiter to take our order first of all, as we were seated for 20mins without being asked a thing. After being seated for 1:15, I had to tell a waiter he was serving the table next to us their drinks when we’d arrived before them and we still had none. He laughed awkwardly and left. Two tables came in after us and they we’re not only served their drinks before us but also their food! It then took me having to get up and ask to talk to a manager for our drinks to be served and for someone to chase the kitchen on our order!

Only half of what we ordered arrived 2 hrs after being seated (inc. the bread and dips, which shouldn’t take no prep time!). The waiter then proceeded to ask me if anything was missing 🤡 When I told him what was missing he told me they had no more left. It got to a point where my mum and I just walked out!

The service was disgusting and the worst I’ve ever received. One of the waiters had a terrible attitude and even sat down with some friends, who conveniently were served on time. Manager offered the meal for free but I can’t even call what we had a meal.

I’ve visited TRG before and was looking forward to introducing mum to Greek cuisine but it’s safe to say we’re never setting foot in one of your restaurants ever again! The food editor at the Telegraph is a close friend of mine and I’ll be sure to mention this to them the next time I...
