This is a really lovely pub. The new management are great. It’s family run and a lot of care is going into getting things thriving. Prices are great considering the close proximity to the town centre it is. Pool table and dart board available to use which is always a bonus. Karaoke nights, quiz nights and singers booked in so there’s always something to look forward to. There’s an outdoor area with multiple benches for the warm weather. For a back street boozer, it is a family run place that welcomes all. You laugh and giggle between drinks with many patrons that end up becoming friends and thats what gives this pub the edge for a city centre local. Has a pool table (free on Tuesdays), Sticky 13's on a Thursday and has good music on to meet your tastes.
