What a lovely pub!! Staff are very friendly and joyful in fact, the best in Plymouth, I would say the landlord would be proud; it’s just the door staff, they do not reflect the establishment with their professionalism or attitude. Rude and aggressive attitudes can ruin your night. They need to take a leaf from the staff from behind the bar with customer service. Hey Ho, shame. The atmosphere is great. The staff behind that bar have respect for their paying customers and are a pleasure to be around; but, unfortunately the ‘big I am’ door attendees just see it as another platform for their self centred self stylised stage, to give it the large. We went to kitty's yesterday to catch with our friends in a group of 6 abiding by the current covid rules. We had the best experience sitting outside in the sun drinking and laughing. The service was outstanding and I just wanted to mention a young man called eamonn that was serving our drinks. He was so friendly and polite. He couldn't of done more for us. And of course Ultan and Neil welcoming us all back like family. It felt like we were coming home. It's our favourite pub in plymouth. If you haven't been you've got to try it out. Atmosphere fantastic, staff attentive, observant and made to feel like a family friend. Food very tasty, served promptly and a great chance to catch up with friends. Would recommend! First time out after lockdown, and seeing staff enforcing mask wearing as others entered or walked to the facilities was reassuring, done in such a friendly manner, and as soon a table was cleared it was cleaned.
