Just to let you know all this is my honest truth and I'll let you know how the place felt and looked As I was the first in line, I was first waiting outside since 3am as I wasn't sure if I had to beat early goiners with there was none. The wait was worth it after all. I was first to walk into the venue. It was brightly lit so not that dim. Then again I think it might be about 4 or 6 lights to bright. If course the tables where clean so no issue there. I went ahead and used no only the 8 free wings but some boneless wings, sweet potatoe fries and the unlimited drink option.
For the wings I ordered the Louisiana run and let me tell you. It had a kick with was perfect and I loved it, wings where perfectly cooked and the rub was a great choice to add. The boneless wings had the BBQ on it and the boneless wings taste amazing the BBQ tastes like it had a slight spice to it with I wasn't sure on but it tasted good after all. Chips where amazing I always loved the the sweet potato fries as they are better then normal fries. Let's move onto the 3 only dips, now I'm not here to nic pick but I wasn't a fan of the mustered and next time I'll give the ranch and the other dip a try. I wish a bbg dip or red sauce dip was added as there wasn't much I'd have chosen otherwise.
Likewise moving on to the drinks now the option for unlimited refills is great, meaning I can go up there as many times as I like. Good selection nothing wrong with that.
I will be returning but with it being card only might have to make it a week only thing so every 2 weeks or 3...
Read moreThis review isn’t aimed at the service, as that was great — the staff were lovely, friendly, and smiley! However, the food was completely sub-par. While it arrived hot, it was utterly flavourless. For over £16 for an average chicken burger, three tenders and a drink, I’ve been left feeling really disappointed.
The other two people I visited with felt exactly the same. One of them ordered the loaded fries, which were ‘sprinkled’ at best — definitely not loaded.
What made it worse was that the walls are absolutely plastered with bold slogans about flavour, but sadly, that’s exactly where the flavour stayed — on the walls, not on the plate.
If flavour is what you're after, I'd steer clear. Wing City on Union Street is a local chicken place in Plymouth and, although I haven’t tried it yet, even from the pictures it looks on another level to Wingstop. Other places I’d recommend instead are Popeye’s, Slim Chickens or even KFC if you’re after a high street chain.
The atmosphere was okay — super busy, but fine. I’m a massive foodie and had been really excited to try this, but sadly, I don’t think I’ll be back.
Also, not that it’s the server's fault, but my fries were missed off the order and I was told I hadn’t ordered them. Unfortunately, I had no way of proving this as the machine had run out of receipt paper, which was a bit of an added...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Wingstop! The service was top-notch — huge shout-out to Pavan and Anindo for being so friendly, helpful, and making sure the service was perfect with my order. They really went above and beyond!
I ordered the Mango Habanero wings, Atomic wings, burgers, and chips, and everything was absolutely delicious. The wings were crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly — that Mango Habanero flavor had the perfect sweet and spicy kick, and the Atomic ones brought the heat just right. The burgers were juicy and fresh, and the chips were hot and seasoned to perfection.
The food came out quickly, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was great. You can tell the team really cares about their customers.
Big thanks again to Pavan and Anindo for making my visit awesome — I’ll definitely be coming back...
