This is a good little place that's having some growing pains as a new business. Food was fantastic, service was friendly, but the packaging was... less than confidence-inspiring.
The paper soup takeout bowl for the pho broth was loose and leaky but the employees wrapped it in seran wrap the best they could. Still the lid came off with zero effort. It doesn't seal. They gave the cheapest dinkiest plastic spoons available that couldn't really hold noodles and broth at the same time. Like, dollar store quality plastic spoons, not even grocery store quality plastic spoons. The plastic to-go bag was also the thinnest plastic you could get. The employees were trying to make it more stable for the ride by tying it tightly, but that means it has to be ripped open. There was no way for it to ride flat and stable in the car in this type of bag, and I wouldn't trust the bag to catch leaks and spills. Heck you could barely trust it to hold the weight of the product!
This was a bad first impression for a business that sells SOUP AND RARE MEAT THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH. I would not trust it to make the journey without spilling, and the temperature wouldn't keep for any length of time. Luckily I was only a block away from my destination, but I would never order this from Uber Eats for lunch at work, for example.
To the owner: it's obvious that you're trying to save money as a new entrepreneur, and you probably have to use up the stock you ordered before getting new stuff. But you look like a cheapskate. This corner cutting is making your employees jobs harder and the customer experience worse. Take a look at Panera and your other soup-to-go competitors and try to get a system with well-sealing bowls and flat-bottomed paper bags that will reliably get the food home for your customers without incident every time.
That being said, good pho! Tasted great. I will try again in a few months after they've gotten their...

Read moreMy mother and I visited this tasty little shop this afternoon. Since we had never been there before, we needed a little help. Ezekiel was great! He was super patient, very well informed and helpful with suggestions that assured we got a taste of pretty much everything. The next time we visit, we'll be ready to explore some different flavor combinations thanks to his guidance. The place seems set up for mostly take away service, but the tables that are inside and outside are available if you want to stick around and enjoy your creation right away. Everything was nice and fresh and the combinations are as abundant as your imagination! This eaterie plays off of the "Build Your Own" concept, but with standard recipes at the ready if you're just looking for a crispy fresh spring roll or other classic Vietnamese dish. The advertised "1 min phó" is...
