I'm going to start this by saying that I really didn't want to make this post. Because I actually like JC's burgers but today was the worst experience ever! My wife and I walked in, neither girls greeted us, one ran to drink her coffee and the other young lady stared at her. One of the young ladies went on to show what I'm guessing is the newer employee how to print a receipt, there wasn't a customer asking for a receipt she was just showing her. At that point they just started staring at us they didn't even ask if we were ready or greet us. When our order came out they had forgotten to make my wife's fries and my burger was completely wrong. I had asked for a double with bacon, I had no bacon and I had a single Patty. I told the young lady my order was wrong she took the burger to the cook and advised him that I didn't ask for that that she verify the order and I didn't tell her I wanted to double. She said all of this loud enough to where we could hear her from our table. Once I got my burger back I still didn't have a double patty, The only thing that they did was add bacon and two slices of cheese to my burger. So I was eating a cold patty. My wife waited until she was completely done with her burger and had to remind the employee about her fries again. The service was unacceptable. We have teenagers of our own so we are in complete support of having young kids in your store and training them up. However, if you're going to have younger employees, we just hit list of maybe they should be properly trained before they are left on their own. Read moreAfter waiting an hour, I called the restaurant to see what the hold up was with our delivery. I was told that while my food was indeed ready, their Uber machine/server had crashed and he had to restart it due to the amount of Uber orders that came through. He told me he was about to begin calling to get things delivered. The food came an hour after that call (I live about a mile from the place). Everything was cold. Not even warm. Cheese on the fries was a brick. Not to mention NOTHING was made how we ordered. Jalapeños were requested to be left off, they were on everything. We asked for cheddar, got American. Crispy bacon? Not a chance. I paid for a full order of cheese fries, they literally gave me enough to barely cover half the takeout container. I understand the Uber server crashing but shouldn't we have gotten fresh food? Isn't an hour or even 30 minute a bit long for food to set waiting?! ON TOP OF ALL THIS?! We were charged TWICE!!! Read moreOn the afternoon of March 21, 2020, we placed a phone order for pickup with JC’s Burger, Allen location. We have never purchased food there before. For the past 11 years, we have always eaten at the Plano locations but they were closed because of sanitizing their facilities. The next morning, I happen to take a look at my receipt and noticed a “seat total charge” (including tax) for each item ordered. Also, I noticed, the ordered items turkey burgers, onion rings and sweet potato fries were each an additional 20 cents higher than posted on the website menu. Out of curiosity I called the restaurant and spoke with “Billy” the same person who took my phone order the previous day and asked him whether the website menu prices were up-to-date and he said it was.
