I am a fan of Hardee's and the one in Pendleton is usually good, but the Anderson location leaves MUCH to be desired. We have ate there 3 times so far. The first time was good but it was also opening day and I'm sure management was extra watchful due to that. The last two times, however, were terrible. Staff was very rude, unprofessional, seemed to have no clue what they were doing, and the food was gross. The last two times our french fries have been overcooked, cold, and my fry container for a small wasn't even filled up halfway. It almost looked like someone just grabbed a few fries with their hand and stuck a few in the box then called it good. I thought maybe the fries spilled in the bag but nope. To top that off we got the chicken club and the sandwich was cold! The Pendleton location always has it as a warm sandwich, and they had it warm at the Anderson location the first time we ate there. The 2nd time we ate there they didn't even wrap the club up like they typically do so all of it was everywhere in the box. It is almost like now that they have been open for a little while management and employees have slacked off, and just don't care. You would think they would be doing their best to make sure they have good food and service considering they have all the other restaurants to compete with right in that location. We have not had their breakfast yet at this location so I can't really judge the service for that yet. I will update this review after I try their breakfast. As far as the lunch and dinner choices go I will be keeping clear of this location and either going to the Pendleton location OR choosing a different restaurant...
Read moreI don’t usually make reviews but after having such a bad experience I kinda felt the need to. I came in about a week ago, last Sunday during the heat wave and yall didn’t have AC. This made the walls and floors slick with condensation so much that i thought i was going to slip and fall if that’s gonna happen you shouldn’t have the lobby open at all, and I was gonna eat inside but after feeling how horrible it felt I just ordered to go. However that took way longer than I expected! I watched as they took probably seven drive through orders before they even looked at the register. The guy taking orders was seemingly arguing with the woman cooking the food about times i guess. The longer i had to wait the more i noticed though, like fly covered fly paper near the back that looks like it’s never been changed, overflowing garbage, and empty boxes piled about knee high in front of the back door! Genuinely a disgusting vibe. I do feel kinda bad because it looked like everyone was trying their best but being kind and hard working only goes so far when you practically get ignored in the first place. I eventually place and received my order but that was like ten minutes later. It wasn’t super hot anymore kinda mid if i’m being honest, but the thought of it being made in a kitchen that doesn’t seem to be getting cleaned really grossed me out so I only ate a few bites of my food before i tossed it. Read moreWritten by my daughter: I visted this restaurant with my family and was unimpressed with the staff automatically thinking you're stupid. The cashier insisted on instructing my Mom on how the chip reader worked even though she actually processes credit cards because the display told her to remove the card before the transaction processed. When we got our food my burger was not brought with the rest of the order. I had to go up and ask for it, but they made it wrong. I told them and they made me a double cheeseburger with not only the ketchup and pickles that I ordered, but they were even thoughtful enough to to put on mustard and onions! These are two ingredients I personally find revolting. I told them that they had yet again messed up my order. They apologized and brought me a cold sandwich that looked as appetizing as it tasted. I wrapped up the remains of the 3-strikes sandwich, deciding to heat and eat at home. When we were in the process of leaving they asked if we were satisfied with the food and I told them that my sandwich was cold, that the cheese was easily removed because the meat wasn't even warm enough to melt it, and that I would eat at home after microwaving and they said "Oh, sorry about that."
