This particular location needs help. The acting general manager is extraordinary overworked at their regular store. The lead that is working at this restaurant is obviously over words and not getting any support from the acting general manager as well as the district manager. I arrived today to try the chicken sandwich only to find out that not only they were going to be closing an hour early, but they in fact had not been prepared correctly with enough inventory to satisfy the demand on nearly every single kind of product they sell. It's almost as if it was a going-out-of-business sale. This is not been the first time this has happened. They are often short stocked because management at the district level does not help the people there in the store maintain an adequate supply of product to produce. How can you run out of chicken? The answer to that is poor management, and it's no support from the district. If you run out of supplies at when location and you are part of a franchise group of restaurants, wouldn't it be common sense to reach out to one of those other locations within your District to get the supplies that you need? If that is not allowed, then measures need to be taken immediately to resolve the supply issue. I was told that they were overwhelmed by the demand of the chicken sandwich, but to that excuse all I have to say is that Winners win and losers make excuses. This restaurant is not a loser, so stop making excuses! To the district manager, get your act together and support your stores! Enable your local management to reach out to other stores to get supplies when in need. Better yet, I know you have the systems in place to replenish any supplies you need in a timely basis, so I suggest you tweak this and improve it. Even better, I suggest that you actually use it before the owner decides to fold the location and that would not be fair to anyone who patronizes the restaurant as much as I do as well as the employees whose livelihoods depend upon the success of the franchise. Stop the out of stock incidences! How can you run out of Coca-Cola, Cajun Rice, two chicken sandwich styles as well as macaroni and cheese when they are your top sellers? Do you not keep records of the demand by the purchase or any kind of survey interaction with your customers so you will not fail again By being out of stock? until this issue gets taken care of, I'm taking a break from your restaurant. And I advise everyone reading this to do the same. Don't go back until they get it fixed, if they care about the business and...
Read moreI drove 30 minutes from another town to Popeyes in Anderson on Saturday March 15th. On Google it states they are open until 10 pm. I was there at 9:20 pm and they were already closed however all lights were on including all outside signs and ordering screen. There were also two other cars in the drive thru with me that were there trying to get food. No one would answer. So I drove back home. On Tuesday March 18th I decided to give it another try as my family was really craving Popeyes, and the one in Anderson is the closest to where I live. However this time I called to make sure they would be open before making the drive. When I got there I was the only car in the drive thru at all but was told at the speaker they would be with me in a minute. After 5 minutes a guy finally took my order. I ordered a 12 piece chicken strip family combo. When the guy heard me say 12 piece his tone of voice changed to where you would have thought I just ordered 100 chicken strips or something. After placing my order, I tried to tell him what sauce I wanted for the strips and honey and butter for the biscuits. He informed me that condiments would be handed out at the second window and would not type in what condiments I wanted with my order. Once I got to the window to pay, I sat there for about another five minutes before being greeted by an employee. When greeted by an employee so I could pay, I told him what condiments I wanted with my food.I asked for honey, butter, ranch and bbq sauce. He let me know that they didn’t gave butter. And then gave me a sack full of ranch and honey. I then told the gentleman that I wanted bbq sauce also and he got frustrated and walked away from the window. Then once I was handed my food, I pulled forwards past the window so I could check my bag of food. instead of giving me the two large sides with my family meal that it comes with I was giving two small individual sides and 11 chicken strips…not 12. I drove back around to the speaker and also tried calling the store and no one would answer at the speaker or the phone for me to ask for more of my sides that should have been with my family meal. Definitely poor service and would not recommend this Popeyes. Especially if your traveling to get there. Save your money,...
Read moreI received two order’s for delivery via DoorDash tonight at 9:09 PM. When I arrived their dining room was closed. So without any other option I went through drive-through. Then, when I got to the speaker box the employee/manager told me it was going to be 15 minutes before the order was ready because they were busy. However, they continued to hand out order’s to customer’s who came through drive-through and paid at the drive-through without any kind of wait for them. Yet they parked 5 Dasher’s including myself. After waiting over 30 minutes in their parking lot and watching multiple other people get their order’s I decided to go back through their drive-through and wait until they gave me my customer’s order’s. They did not hand out the order’s to me until 9:43pm and they did so without any kind of apology or any sign of remorse. One of my order’s was for a Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Red beans & Rice. My other order consisted of a 3-piece Tender Combo with a Small Sprite and an additional Large Diet Coke with a 2-piece Strawberry Biscuit. Sadly, this is not the first time I have had this kind of experience, however, it most definitely is the last time I will ever experience anything like that. From now on, I will deny all Popeyes order’s. Due to them having terrible customer service and no priorities. Their order’s should be done in the way they were received not take care of the drive-through customer's first and make the delivery drivers wait. Upper management really needs to get involved in this location!!! How they are still open, blows my mind. Because their customer service is nonexistent!!! Upper management needs to watch the security tapes & find out exactly how many times they’re actually manipulating their drive-through times. There was a customer there when I arrived that was pulled up and waiting on a chicken tender meal. Those customer’s wound up waiting over 38 minutes before the employee brought out their order and that was only after the passenger stopped the employee (who was bring a parked customer their order) and the passenger spoke with him about their order. As one of the top dashers for Anderson, I will NEVER be back to Popeyes for myself or...
