I visited the Red Lobster in Anderson Indiana on Saturday, March 9th 2024. I do want to say our server was absolutely wonderful. No issue with her. She was extremely pleasant and we were a large group (15 Adults) and she was so on top of everything. Kudos to her.
I had ordered a new appetizer for my lunch. BBQ Chicken Flatbread this was the menu description. (Chicken, mozzarella, parmesan, fresh tomatoes, red onion and fire-roasted corn over a crispy flatbread. Topped with cilantro and a drizzle of BBQ Ranch.) I had ordered mine without the fresh tomatoes or red onion. I extremely disappointed with the plate that was put in front of me to eat. There were maybe 20 corn kernels on the entire dish and the cheese was minimal at best. I don't know who thought a BBQ & Ranch mixture was a good idea, but just plain BBQ sauce would have been much more pleasing to my palate. There was also an extreme amount of salt underneath of my flatbread that it was just very hard to eat, let alone enjoy. Definitely not something I would EVER order again. I did bring it home with me because I was taught never to waste my food. I am going to try and scrape off the disgusting barbecue Ranch combo brush the salt off of the underside add some more cheese and a drizzle of real BBQ sauce. Hopefully it will be palatable. The first photo is from Red Lobster's online menu. The second photo is the leftovers I took home before I erase the bad parts and enhance them in my kitchen.
I did notice on entering the restaurant there were no lobsters in the tank and it just didn't look clean and sparkly. It is very dark at this Red Lobster. The carpets were not super clean and there were shrimp tails on the floor. I know other members of my dining party mentioned their steaks were delicious and everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal very much. Mine was a total fail. A positive part of this entire event was our server was professional, pleasant, efficient and kind. We were celebrating a 90th birthday so I hope he enjoyed time...
Read moreWent today which is Father's day. Was told it would be approximately 45 min wait. No problem we sat around the bar and chit chatted. We were finally seated after almost an hr. When ordering, their pop machine was down and was giving drinks from 2 liters. First thing we all know drinks are close to if not $3 or more and there is a huge difference in taste between the two. Not only that they were out of coconut shrimp at a time they have endless shrimp right? Go figure. On top of being out of broccoli and regular lettuce for salads. The salad itself is approximately what... $5 or more and it was literally all spring mix... now when we ask for a manager because now we've been sitting at our table for almost another 20 mins and no drinks or biscuits. Okay.... two servers no show one walks out (management issues??) Which we understand but now here we are another 20 mins in and still no order has been placed.... he didnt seem to care too much on the situation . finally got an awesome waitress that took over by the name of lateche n. She completely rocked it. She made sure to go above and beyond to make sure everything was right (after first waiter took order and we got the completely wrong meal). It was my mother in laws birthday and she made sure we had cake and ice cream. That young lady 9 months prego took a completely hectic situation and made it that much more enjoyable by the time we left. Had she not taken over our table and made sure we were completely satisfied we would have ended up...
Read moreI will give three stars because their food makes up for the customer service for take out. The hostess really should acknowledge the customer after they return from the back when checking on a customers food, rather than go chat with a coworker right in front of the customer. Then when I asked if my food was on the way, hostess said she thought my food was being packaged and would be right out. 10 minutes later of waiting, another customer comes in to pick up their food and I witness the same thing happen. I let the hostess know I would be back in a few minutes, left, returned about 10 minutes later, same hostess goes to check on it and this time when she came out she at least told me (as other customer who came in after me the first time I was there was still sitting there also) that "someone was packaging up a couple bags of food so hopefully its for me." It was for the other customer. I still waited another 7 minutes before someone with my food finally came out. My concern is that the hostess should be more in tune with the customers sitting in front of her waiting, rather than discussing with another coworker which...
