When booking at the hotel I had issues from the very beginning. When I first booked I only booked for one night. A day later I called and then I booked for another day. I mentioned how I asked for the first floor due to my father being handicapped and asked if they can make note again. The man I spoke to said he’d make sure we got the first floor due to my father being handicapped and since we booked in advance it was open. Once I arrived at the hotel the man behind the counter couldn’t find my second reservation and tried telling me I can have another day but it would be $40 more than the fee mentioned on the phone. I insisted there was another reservation but we kept going back and forth and I had my family in the car waiting to get into the room because it was 12 am and we were exhausted from the drive and had a funeral to go to the next morning. So the man said I could speak with the manager in the morning. Once he handed me my key it was on the second floor. I mentioned to the man, I asked for the first floor twice and the man on the phone when making my reservation said he could accommodate the first floor. Well he said the first floor is booked and there’s nothing he can do.... great. My father suffers from copd and is in remission for lung cancer. He can’t walk long distances because it’s hard for him to breathe and he has bad balance so he needs a handicapped shower. Didn’t argue once again because it was late and I’m annoyed at this point. I get my stuff out of the car and we head to our room, immediately after exiting the elevator the whole hallway smelled like dead fish. It was awful. It smelled like someone left a bucket of dead fish out. The room was extremely hot, once we came in it was like 78 degrees. After the funeral Me and my family wanted to take my daughter swimming to keep her occupied and because it was a traumatic day for her I wanted her to unwind since it was her first funeral and she was coping. We waited from 6 pm until 9 pm for the pool to open up. The same people stayed in there. I asked the front desk several times if we could have some time to swim. They kept saying they can’t kick people out. These people stayed in until 10 pm when the pool closed. The front desk first said only 7 people allowed and then said 12. But with me and my family there were 6 of us and there were already 7 in the pool. The next day the same exact thing happened. Also want to add that cars like to take up several spots and staff does nothing to accommodate other guests wanting to park. Also the management reached out to “apologize” but made excuses and accused me of lying but whatever I’ll never stay there again. It was awful. And they say how clean they are. Why was there red stuff splattered all over the top of the wall above the bed ? Save your money and time and book some...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. There are motels I’ve been to that are nicer than this. They don’t allow extra guest because of COVID-19 (I don’t have extra guests but the manager/owner-an older Indian woman made sure she lectured me about it at check in with my husband and two toddlers because i accidentally booked just one guest and not us four.
The hotel is UNKEMPT. The grass hasn’t been cut in weeks, there’s trash everywhere and there is literally whole couches dumped on the side of the hotel. Red flag. The inside is dated, dirty and dusty. It’s very gray.
When I got up to my room I checked the beds as I usually do and there was BLOOD on the sheets and when I went to tell her about it she wanted to come to the room to literally see for herself and offered another comforter. I told her that was ok and proceeded to check the other bed. There was FOOD stuck on that comforter. Some sort of jelly or syrup with crumbs which means no one washed the comforter smh. The manager told me she would just refund me and literally put me and my family out.
When I told her that she has poor management skills and the proper thing to do was to put me in another room she yelled at me to have my husband get my daughter out of the bathroom despite her needing to use the potty that she was already on while I checked the beds. She told us that my four year old ruined the room because she used the bathroom and next time not to use the restroom before we check the beds. She was VERY disrespectful (especially in front of my kids), argumentative and rude. There was no one here either outside of two cars so I can see this business is definitely failing and I can tell she’s frustrated. This is not the way to gain customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE. I would give zero...
Read moreThe worst customer service ever. Front desk staff member (Suzie or Susie) was probably the rudest person our business has ever encountered in all the cities and states we place our crews. There is no reason for yelling, demeaning, cursing and an overall attitude while we are trying to do our jobs from another city and get our crews rooms while working out of town. If I could rate 0 I would. I can not believe this person still has a job in a service/hospitality industry after belittling our staff for trying to do our jobs and it not being to her satisfaction or our company policy. And we have placed our guys there numerous times with no issues, just this time with this one woman has made all the difference for my business to totally pull our crews and we will never place our guys at any Quality Inn anywhere or a subsidiary ever again.
She even yelled and cursed at my Vice President when he called trying to come up with an equal medium because she could not read a fax and demanded more information (to be emailed against our policy as stated before) duplication of sending personal information, financial information and straight out told us "you will do this and you will do it this way" and hung up on us numerous times after choice words by her.
If you are doing a walk in, you may be fine, but do not try to book online or through expedia, it will be your worst nightmare, as it was for us, since our crews are not allowed to carry credit cards, our business pays for rooms and incidentals. Buyer beware of poor service and if you refuse the room, it is a major fight to get a reimbursement because they conveniently forget to check you out, so you are obviously charged, making that process even...
