Let me start by saying that I go to this Chili's at least once a week for lunch with my friend, sometimes more. The past couple of times have been kind of slow service, not too big of a deal. This time, we walked in and after about 2 minutes the hostess appears and tells us that it'll be 10 minutes to sit or we can sit in the bar. We opt to sit in the bar because I only have an hour for lunch. About 5 minutes go by and this girl who looked miserable finally takes our drink order. Due to the time constraint and the fact that they were already lagging, I go ahead and tell her I am ready to order. She has no pen. She comes back, pen in hand to take the order. I told her we want queso, a house salad...INTERRUPTION..."do you want the salad with your entree?"..."We want a house salad with no tomatoes and ranch, Southwestern Eggrolls and nachos." A few minutes later she returns with the salad and the queso. We eat and chat until we need drink refills that finally came 5 minutes later. We continue. We are about 35 minutes into our meal at this point and my friend says she can see the manager walking by and looking at us so she stands up and says shes going to go to the kitchen. She doesn't but about 10 minutes go by and our food finally comes...cold. How does it take 45 minutes to get 3 appetizers and a salad? Well we obviously cannot stay since I have an hour for lunch and I'm already about to be late. I get ToGo boxes and we pay and leave. She says she is going to call and talk to the manager, which she did. The manager apologized and said she was going to send her some gift cards or whatever. In their conversation, my friend learns that said manager knew we were unhappy and even saw her stand up (threatening to go to the kitchen). Ms. Manager said she was afraid she was going to go to the kitchen. I was close to NOT writing this review but once I heard that, I wanted to write it even more. I have had a bad experience at every Chili's I have been to in the last 5 years EXCEPT this one, until now. How does a manager KNOW that someone is unhappy with their service and not immediately try to rectify the situation? It is their responsibility to ensure that their customers are satisfied. Would she have cared if my friend had not called? I am disappointed in the service of the staff but more so in the behavior of the management. Usually we have GREAT service at this Chili's but today was like a completely...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I most definitely would, my best friend and our kids went to this establishment on 03/03/19 and had the WORST experience of our life. Upon entering the greeter didn't immediately acknowledge us she just stood organizing menus, after finally noticing we were there she told us "we have a big booth ready it'll just be 5 minutes we have to clean it" 5 minutes came and went and we still weren't seated. Finally we are seated and a server by the name of Kalyn or Kayla came to assist us she gave us menus but no eating utensils and not to mention after taking our orders she didn't collect the menus like normally a server would do. We waited like 30 minutes for food and our food came out before the appetizers or our kids food, by this time we were livid and didn't understand why service was so horrible, there was also a dirty table directly across from us the whole time that no one bothered to clean. After getting our food we still had no utensils, when asking Kayla and/or Kalyn about this she stated "we don't have any rolled" well ma'am we're about to eat we don't need them rolled. The experience overall was very horrible but there were two servers in particular which I hate I don't remember their name who offered to make it a better dining experience do kudos to them, Kalyn or Kayla seems to not like her job very much her eye rolling and comment about going to smoke a cigarette after we simply asked for better service was unbecoming and unprofessional. With all that being said the manager whom I believe name was Mario did comp a portion of the meal and I'm thankful for that, I will never be returning to this Chili's however until they get more and...
Read moreRarely do i give 1 star reviews. I took the kids to Chills and although the customer service wasnt horrible it could have been better. The surpirsing part was that the subpar service came from the manager. We were served by a younger gentlemen who took our orders - we requested our 'sprites' in Styrofoam cups , given the virus, when he returned w/ our drinks they were all flat and lacking soda syrup - too much seltzer and too little soda syrup. We waited for some time for the gentleman to return and he came back with 4 new cups never taking the previous 4 cups . The newer cups he brought tasted the exact same way, you would expect your server to wait to ensure your drinks were to your liking before taking off again but he didn't. He dropped them off and ran off. To his credit he did have another table waiting. After about 10 more minutes he returned and we told him that our drinks were still flat. He assured he'd fix it and return, after another 10 minutes we waved the manager over and asked for newer drinks telling them that our drinks were flat. She returned with 1 drink saying , try this , i changed the machine myself , although it did taste a little off, its as good as its going to get , and then she left. No, she did not wait until we tasted this drink. So now we've got a total of 9 drinks on our table and the one drink she brought was still flat. I called the gentleman over and asked him politely to just remove the drinks from our ticket. When our food finally arrived the broccoli w/ cheese i ordered for my daughter arrived cold and without cheese. This will be the last Chili's visit...
