Just spent 7 minutes on the phone when they put a soup from our order into someone else's bag. The owner/boss lady did her best to misunderstand everything I said despite her speaking English well. "Oh $18 is a significant amount for us. We closed the check already. I would have to call the bank or something." Lady, are you going to FIGURE IT OUT?! So many times she asked the waitress what paper bag she put the soup in. "There was only 1 paper bag! 1 paper bag!". Ok ma'am for the fifth time I DIDN'T TAKE A PAPER BAG, I DIDN'T TOUCH A PAPER BAG, I took the two plastic bags I was told twice were mine, the ones that had my receipt taped to them showing soup, but no soup in the bag with the rest of my order. "Oh I see, so you took the paper bag, removed the smaller bags and brought the paper bag back into the restaurant and left. slap forehead Last time I got my blood pressure up this high was calling TD bank to dispute a charge. At this point I'm used to getting shaken down. I'll leave this useless review out of principle. This is me ordering food from them even knowing they had a health code violation for having beds in the basement of the restaurant for workers.

This was an exciting way to let our food get cold on my wife's birthday. Wish I had som...

SNAPSHOT = Quality endures. It has been years since I last ate here. Still great with nice new faces.

Reza ("Ree-zah") was our server and just fantastic. She is very good and a very likeable woman. We asked her if the sushi Chef's would "create" a salmon & yellowtail Tartar and it was excellent!

Thanks again, Reza for a great lunch!

UPDATE = Went back 3 weeks later. Very cool that Reza immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. She also, on just her second time waiting on us, remembered all of the small preferences I have. What a nice surprise!

We tried some of the appetizers and they were great! Loved the Green Faeries and the Salmon Tataki was excellent.

NOTE = Spicy Kani Salad is very good but the portion is much larger than anywhere else.

Reza is still a fantastic server and food is great! What a great combination!!!

UPDATE = We have now had Dewa ("Dee-wah") serve us at lunch 3 times. He is a very good server. He told us Wasabi gets fresh fish orders MWF! No need to avoid sashimi for lunch on Mondays for lunch anymore!

Both Reza and Dewa will take special requests to the sushi chefs for you! We asked Dewa to adjust the sashimi Martini by swapping the normal sauce and they even spiced it up some! Great job,...

What a serendipitous find…we stumbled on this gem of a restaurant trying to find another! Good variety, swift friendly service and a lively ambiance!

Every bite was delectable and excellent to the end. We began with the Spicy Kani Salad—tastebud delight, scintillating blend of textures of crab, crunchy cucumber and crunchy garnish mixed in the salad topped with pretty Tobiko. The House Seafood Soup was devoured without any pictures. The dark clear savory broth held treasures of fish cake, scallop, mussel, crab stick, shrimp and Shiitake mushrooms. Fantastic flavors in the Tuna Dumplings. Again, a surprising melange of tuna sashimi and scallops wrapped dumpling style, sitting in a sweet chili sauce! The Asian Curry with Scallops served with brown rice was such a comforting dish—perfectly cooked sweet snow pea pods, tender sweet potato shards, shiitake slivers, onions, all swimming with seared scallops in a lovely coconut curry with the barest hint of sweet. Alas, too full for dessert. Hope to visit this hidden...

Tucked away in the bustling downtown area is this local favorite, and from the first bite you'll understand why. The mix of flavors definitely take you on a ride. Start off right with dumpling that wake-up the taste buds. Then move into the beginning of summer. The Summer roll is the perfect sushi starter with it's fresh, crisp, clean flavor combinations. It has the perfect balance and. An be used as a palette cleanser between courses. When you're ready to move into the heat of summer order the Firecracker. It is an explosion of flavors that will have you smiling and begging for more. The little kick you get from the pepper isn't overpowering it just adds depth to the rolls wonderful flavor profile. If you're in the mood to step outside of the sushi box do yourself a favor and order up some chicken fried rice. It is loaded with all of what is sure to be all your favorites.

Delicious! Came during early afternoon and we had no wait time for a table. Small-medium sized restaurant, the service and food was amazing! There are limited outdoor seating. Our server was quick, attentive, and nice. The food was very tasty, I recommend trying the Coconut Scallops. It comes with a great fish sauce/sweet chili combo dip and the flavors mesh so well with the coconut. Crispy, sweet, and fresh. We got an eel roll and it was perfect. We regret not ordering more sushi. For the main dish we went with a basic teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki fish which both came on hot skillets/plates. Both came with plenty of veggies like snow peas, bean sprouts, etc. Definitely get their white sauce with these rice plates. Side dishes like soup and salad were great as well. Everyone was super nice and the food was great! We will definitely be back, try it for yourself!
