Bloomsbury Blends — Restaurant in Ashland

First of all- most adorable coffee house in Ashland. Their back patio is pretty much ideal for book reading and drink sipping. I love that they will make your drink with whatever strange milk-like beverage you want- coconut milk, almond, soy, etc. Their mocha made with coconut milk is to die for. Their service is great, the establishment is laid back, and they actually give you enough cream cheese for your bagel. : ) The only thing I do not love about Bloomsbury is their hours. They open pretty late for a coffee shop and so many times I've come before work and they are closed (I always forget they don't open till 9 during the week and 10 on weekends). Open earlier! We visit Ashland every year for a week to attend the OSF. Every day we visit Bloomsbury Blends. The have great coffee, many baked goods, and a great outdoor patio area.

My husband and I went to the bookstore around 9:15 on a Monday and then we traveled upstairs to enjoy our new books at Bloomsbury Blends. The woman who helped us was so kind and patient, helping us figure out the different types of coffees and which we might like.
