Boozie Smoothies — Restaurant in Atlanta

DO NOT DINE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK! I stopped by this place with some friends and was discussed and shocked a place like this existed. I didn’t order anything because as soon as we came in the door there were fruit flies everywhere. I’m not talking a few I mean everywhere. My friends were literally swatting them away as they ordered from the kiosk. The people behind the counter couldn’t even prepare the orders without swatting them away. One of my friends ordered a shot and bartender took the bottle to the back where we couldn’t see to pour it. I thought that was suspicious until I looked more closely at the bottles behind the bar. Nearly every single bottle had dead fruit flies in it 🤮. I asked to use their bathroom because the bugs became too much for me and the bathroom had a lock pad on it for whatever reason and even there I was met with bugs. I eventually just went outside because it took somewhere around 30 minutes for 4 smoothies and a sandwich. That’s crazy to go outside to get away from bugs literally attacking your face. When we left my friends claimed their smoothies was not good. My friend that ordered the sandwich said the deli meat smelt sour. All four of them threw their smoothies away after a few sips. Besides this place being nasty I was even more shocked when they told me the prices. Talk about...

Just left this place and the experience was so bad that we laughed out loud. My friend and I thought we would stop in for a mid-day "boozie" smoothie to perk up our afternoon. We were the only customers in the place and we each ordered a smoothie - I got the OG...she got something with strawberry.

We sat there for close to thirty minutes, honestly maybe more, while the person behind the counter seemingly wandered around the back room looking for ingredients. That's okay...we weren't really in a huge hurry. Finally, the "smoothies" came out. They did not have smoothie consistency, just liquid, like a juice. Her cup was only half full and he said "sorry, we ran out of strawberries and I didn't want to just give you alcohol". Clearly neither drink had any ice in it. It seemed to just be fruit blended with liquor. He proceeded to tell us he's never made a boozy smoothie before. Sir, do you know where you work? Then he said he's not even old enough to make them! WHAT?! I would have gladly just taken a regular smoothie!

Anyway, I tasted my smoothie and it was literally straight liquor and not even cold. I just threw it in the trash when we got outside. $12 in the garbage. At least it was kind of...
