I recently visited Farm Burger at 14th and Spring street in Atlanta Georgia. I begin placing my order with a young man who was in training, but the woman who described herself as the GM took over. The young man headed back towards the register with a cup of water,I requested that I have a carry out water instead. The is when things became really strange. The GM became annoyed that I wanted a fresh cup of water a to go cup. The "GM" told the young man that she would finish my order, and so she did. The "GM" began to read my sandwhich and onion ring order back very quickly,I told her I didn't understand what she was saying. The "GM" then repeated the order again in the same demeanor. I still didn't understand what she was said. I assumed she was calling out my cheese burger order, but what she was saying sounded as if she didn't want me to undertsand her description of my order. The "GM" proceeded to check me out and insisted that I tap my card on the payment device, but I inserted my card because that is what I am use to doing with my payments. The "GM " then asked if I wanted my receipt and I said yes. The " GM" them flipped a number signage toward me in a rude manner, so I left the sign there.
I noticed when it was time for me to pick up the order the "GM" ran over to where the person who would hand me my order and she was smirking. This was weird. The young man gave me my order and I left, but before getting my order I chatted with couple who said the "GM" had placed the wrong order for them and thy took it back to the counter. I had already change my mind about eating in the restaurant and requested the it be packaged to go.
WELL, when I opened my order it was the nastiest look burger with a bunch of white looking sauce on it and the onion rings were black and brown ,extremely hard and cold. This is when I knew the " GM" had sabotaged my order purposely . This is the highest level of disrespect r a customer. When I asked for the manager she made sure to tell me she was the GM in the beginning of our lack of customer service. The " GM" is a poor example of leadership and shouldn't be allowed to train anyone. This is poor business practice and could be extremely harm to a customer health if she retaliates only because the customer decides to have a to go cup of water. This was the first and last time visiting this location under this type of leadership.
I tried to eat the food anyway because I had a serious migrane headache and though the food would help. It was an unbelievable experience.I also didn't go back because I knew she was the "GM " in the store and my headaches wouldn't be able to tolerate the disrespect. I would suggest trying a different location because I have experienced amazing food and service at some...
Read moreI never had a direct racist experience until meeting the manager Jeff at the Farm Burger in Midtown Atlanta on 14th street who took my order on the 6th of January 2025. I asked for a burger well done no pink. He immediately said I am not typing that. When asked why he said "I am not in the mood today what's the rest of your order or leave." Then when I kindly asked if there was an issue to quote Jeff "I can't stand you people" and he walked away from the counter. (and never came back) I literally stood there asking to speak with someone in charge - the other employees were respectful but said they could do nothing because he was their manager. I hate typing this review and would never do so it the actions were not so bold and disrespectful. Farm Burger literally has video of him saying this, leaving the counter and me standing there and never coming back. If anyone reads this and knows how to get this information to someone who cares please reach out to me. I would love the video footage of him classifying me as "YOU PEOPLE" pulled and displayed to the local public so we actually know the business we are supporting. Jeff was bold and had no remorse with his seemingly racist comment. Since I being a young black man and he being an older white guy. I would love to know what he meant by "You People"?
I am going to continue to stop in and ask for corporate's number it's outrageous that Farm Burger would allow such behavior from one of their location's manager... and if you have any doubt of his behavior please pull the camera footage and ask the two other employees who were working the front counter on 01/06/2025.
BE BLESSED JEFF!! WE PEOPLE ARE NOT...
Read moreToday was my first time trying and Farm Burger and it did not disappoint!
Initially I was greeted by one of the lovely managers, O, and she served me the entire time I was there for lunch. She was a peach, keeping my water and tea topped off with a smile. She was super attentive and consistently checked on me while I was there.
I ordered the lunch special, which includes a Build-Your-Own Burger, a side, and a drink for $8.99 (a deal!). I decided to get a well-done beef burger (judge if you will) with pickles, onions, pickled jalapenos and aged white cheddar (extra $1) and the FB sauce on the side. I also decided to get regular fries as my side.
My burger came in a timely fashion and I was instantly impressed by the presentation. I noticed that there were several slivers of red onion and I initially took a few of those off, worried they would be overpowering. I then dipped a fry into the FB sauce, to see if I would like it; I wasn't particularly sold, so I left it off my burger. I then dressed my burger with ketchup and mustard and took the first bite... MAN!
The flavor was PHENOMENAL! Everything tasted so fresh, from the bun, to the house made pickles. I realized that the onions were mild and decided to pile a few of the ones I had taken off, back on the burger. The jalapenos were also very mild, with just the right amount of kick. I devoured that burger before I knew it. The natural cut fries were perfect as well. From the great service to the great food, Farm Burger has got a loyal...
