Short story: I wanted blond highlights. They burned my hair to the point that right now it's coming apart and I still had to pay $175.
Long story: I have a lot of thick, dark hair and I wanted to get some light silver highlights. I was told that they would have to bleach my hair and then put a toner in. Alright. Foil placement took over 2h, so you can imagine that by that time I had bleach in some parts of my hair for 2h. After they washed it, my hair was literally coming apart. I almost couldn't believe it. I told them that my hair is burned, and they said no, it's just the ends and they offered me a haircut. I did not come in for a haircut, I came in for highlights. But I accepted the haircut hoping that something will save my hair. By the end, my hair was nicely cut, but still coming apart. Multiple stylists came in to assure me that this is normal and that the texture of the hair does change when you go lighter. Really? I go to a salon to get burned textured hair?!
I was asked to pay over $200 for this ($175 for colour and $40 for the toner). I asked for a discount since my hair was coming apart. The only thing that they agreed on was to waive the toner.
The stylist is a really great, nice, hardworking person. He worked on my hair for over 5h. I'm sure other clients are very happy with his services. He cut my boyfriend's hair, and he's always been very happy with his services. But this time a mistake has been made.
p.s. When I got home, my boyfriend asked me why my hair is so frizzy. That's how burned it is. That's not the "compliment" you wish for after you spend so much time (more than 5h) and money (almost $200) at a "professional" hair salon.

Read moreI went to a few salons in Atlanta before securing this as my go to. I made an appointment with Brooke and loved the experience from start to finish - friendly greeting with beverage offering, clean facility, convenient parking, and absolutely amazing customer service! Brooke took extra time trying to teach me how to style my hair to look blown out (even though I am incapable of doing so) and suggested a bunch of things to try to get the look I wanted. The next appt I made Brooke was unavailable and I was about to leave town so decided I would get my hair done back home. The salon called me and said Brooke was willing to stay late to accommodate me so my hair could be done before my trip. Amazing! Most recently I got my hair cut about two weeks ago and since decided that I want a little more trimmed off the ends. AJ and Brooke worked to schedule me at the time most convenient for me and said it would be no charge. My expectations continue to be exceeded by Eleven Salon, and everyone I've interacted with in the salon has been so kind and welcoming. I have referred several friends and family to the salon because I'm confident they will love whoever does their hair....
Read moreAbsolutely outrageous. I went to this salon for the first time before the holidays to change up my color. I had a dark blue color in my hair and usually dye it myself but was having a really hard time getting the color out. So I figured I would go to a professional. The problem is the guy destroyed my hair. I have brown hair and bleach it to put my blue color in. He did what any novice stylist knows not to do, he used 40 vol developer on previously bleached hair. He used olaplex but I could feel how hot the bleach was getting. And he started with that section. So it was processing while he was doing the other areas. I asked him to look at it when he was done with the bleach and he said it was fine and needed to process longer. Unfortunately as you may have guessed that hair is all fried and breaking off. I have done moisturizing and protein masks every week since and only wash once a week but it's still extremely fragile. Worst of all this cost an outrageous amount of money over $350 (for the color and a hair cut). This experience really made me lose faith in hairdressers. I just don't want this to happen to...
