Iāve been here twice now since it is walking distance from me and I truly love it. The workers are really nice and talkative just a very inviting environment. They are helpful with recommendations and explain everything really clearly. They offer to warm up pastries even though I forget to ask they ask which is really nice. I havenāt had the chance to try everything so far so I can only speak for the lattes and two pastries. The cinnamon coffee cake is so delicious and I donāt even like cinnamon like that which was surprising. It also looked really appetizing. Iāve tried two different flavors of lattes and they both tasted really good. I will say I get iced lattes and they are about on par with a lot of other places I like, like dancing goats. The chocolate muffin is good too a little too chocolaty for me but definitely good for someone who would inhale chocolate. The environment is nice though it was a little difficult to find the area initially since the since is a little small. The inside is very spacious and has a ton of space for anyone looking to do work, study, or chat with a friend. I learned they have individual work space areas available on a first come first serve basis. It looked really neat and something I havenāt seen before. Definitely will be coming again for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe mocha I ordered was great! Would definitely get it again. But the barista was rude and didnāt even care to take my order when I went in. I was waiting for a whole 15 mins, as they kept preparing other drinks and never came to the counter to take customer orders. I get that itās busy sometimes, but acknowledge the customer came in first and make sure you will get to them. There was so much crowd near the counter I couldnāt even tell if people were waiting to order or waiting to receive. Another customer walked in and the barista took her order right in front of me even though she knew I was waiting for the past 20 mins at that point. Seating space is very limited on a crowded day, and there is a hotel attached to the cafe, which people who go for the first time like me would not be aware of. I pointed down the hallway and asked if there was extra seating there and she barely looked up and said yes. I thought it was part of the cafe and went to the hall(turned out to be hotel lobby) then had to pack my stuff and come back to the cafe to work. Would love to get that coffee again, but was the most unwelcoming experience, so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe unique name fits the architecture and vibe of Land of a Thousand Hills coffee shop. Itās a high-ceilinged shop with a big garage door window/ open bar that feels like a land far away, rather than right in midtown Atlanta.
They had a lot of fun coffee options which I always appreciate. I tried some sort of berry shaken espresso, and it was BERRY good. It was strong but the berry flavor blended nicely so it wasnāt too overwhelming.
What I also liked about this shop is their dedication to a good mission. Part of their proceeds go towards building a farm, I think it was, in Uganda so that residents there can sustain themselves with food they grow themselves. They sold various Ugandan made items that were really neat.
This is also attached to a big apartment building- thereās are individual conference rooms you can go in, and plenty of other seating indoors...
