It's taken me weeks to finally leave a review after having a horrible experience. Upon walking up, I noticed the clerk had a very mean/off-putting demeanor, but this location always has terrible service, so I wasn't surprised. He asked if I had been there the day before and said some woman who looked just like me had stolen a hummus. The way he was staring me in my eyes while I told him it wasn't me was so threatening and just creepy that I haven't been able to forget the experience.
I could tell that he didn't believe me, and that was so awkward. I am a regular at both their other stores because I work next door to them, and the clerks know me. This was so left field. I had never been accused of stealing something, and to do so on a day when I was just coming back to town after burying my beloved grandfather, was not good at all!
I decided to drive all the way to the Buckhead store to tell the clerk that knows me there about the situation. He passed on the message, but that was the end of it. Apparently, when confronted, the clerk played it off and told the owner that didn't happen and that he had even "complimented me by telling me I was well-dressed," which did not happen at all! He told me that "the woman who stole the hummus looked just like you, well-dressed and all." Context matters!
A few weeks later, I decided to write the owners directly to tell them what happened. I got an email response right away, despite being just past midnight, where she promised to follow up after touching base with her partner. It's been a month since then, and no response.
I have never had a good experience at this specific location, but to be accused of stealing by a man who clearly seems like the type that will hurt someone, is unacceptable and the last straw for me. I have to drive all the way to Buckhead when I'm not working to go get a smoothie because I refuse to stop here, and now I refuse to even shop at this Whole Foods location because of him.
Not only do I refuse to go to Whole Foods out of pride, but worse off, I'm afraid of this man. But apparently, the owners think it's not worthy of a follow-up, and that...
Read moreI'm not sure how they find their staff, but every time I've gotten a smoothie from Dtox, the person is always rude and disinterested. Like a high school kid getting forced to work in their auntie's juice bar for the summer or something. They'll literally have an attitude because you came to spend money and they have to work. They really need more training on customer service, presentability, and being knowledgable about the products they sell. I avoid getting smoothies now when I'm at this Whole Foods. I've just started making my own or going someplace else for my smoothies/juices on the go. Whole Foods should just bring back their own juice/smoothie bar and get rid of Dtox, or talk to the Dtox management and get better employees to work this location....

So I tried my best not to give a negative review but I don’t know who works in the noon time, but she’s full figured and always comes in with an attitude that makes it feels like you’re bothering her even though she applied for the job, even after you order your drink she would literally stand on her phone before making drinks. I try my best to come early in the morning because after 12 I avoid going if I can. The drink was so bad I ended up just...
