Pho King Express — Restaurant in Atlanta

Sad to say but I won’t be returning here. I ordered a simple order of basil rolls and they gave me veggies basil rolls. I’ve been going there since they opened & ive never ordered veggie anything. Instead of just apologizing they argued with me and said I ordered veggie which I never had. They ordered me to bring my food back and switch it out. Not only that they messed up my new spring rolls too only had shrimp no pork. No class. I could have given the veggie basil rolls to a homeless person rather than them throwing them away. but no they’d rather argue and not even apologize for their mistake. Won’t be returning here. They showed their true colors. UPDATE: Why lie? I called back on my class break to tell you all I was on the way like I said I would. the same guy who took my order continued to accuse me of lying like you did about my order. Why would I lie about what I ordered.? You weren’t there he threw the food away. Replaced it and still did not apologize like you didn’t. Go look at your call records and camera footage. I have nothing to lie for youre the liar. Thanks for the response. I’ll be avoiding this place...

I wrote the below write up in a post on my LinkedIn, so I copied and pasted it below to serve as my Google review because it describes the wonderful experience we had at Pho King Express.

"After we picked up our daughter from #morehouse yesterday, we were looking to eat savory food and we were torn between eating Indian or Vietnamese in downtown #atlanta.

I opened the door to Pho King Express and was trying to convince Hubby and Daughter to come in. They were still undecided.

The owner came to the door, greeted us and persuaded us to come in and eat.

She encouraged us to sit and enjoy the food instead of getting a take away. She said "The food tastes better if you eat it here".

We sat. We drank delicious Vietnamese iced coffees and boba tea.We ate our savory, delicious meal.

When we were leaving I thanked the owner for coming to the door to personally invite us to come in.

She said "Thank you. It's just that I know that we have good food here."

I love that she knows how her business provides value to her customers.

And I love that she knows how to make her customers...

If you're looking for a quick bite that is still an Express place and not a full fast food place for pho, this is it. They offer pho to go. Don't go in expecting more. They gave you numbers and bring your food to you. There is no other table service.

This is the first Pho place that let's you grab a container and take how much extra veggies you need. That helps the restaurant with less waste. There is cups for water on the side. The pho is the same size all around but yes the portion can be the same but the bowl could be bigger though if the restaurant will do it. The bowl is disposable and is probably used for to go orders.

There is an upstairs and downstairs seating area. There are bathrooms in the back hallway. That same hallway leads to the other restaurants in the same building. Make sure to ask for the key.

There is a small sign on the counter that says 10% off for GSU students by showing your student ID. Ugh I didn't know to ask for a discount. So a college student can afford to upgrade to a warm meal for once. In the meantime,...
