My friends party and I arrived before our reservation which was at 9pm on 8/9/25. I'm ok with a little wait but a reservation is a reservation. We had to wait for another party to finish and pay their tabs. We did not get seated until almost 11pm. The waitress was ok in the beginning and was very good with taking our orders in a timely fashion. We all ordered at the same time. About 20 or so minutes later everyone's food came except mine and another friend that was in our party. We waited over an hour for our food without any explanation. When we did ask about it the waitress said another table's order was put before ours and that Salmon and Salmon bites take a while to prepare. I explained to her if she set the expectation in the beginning we would've ordered something else. Salmon takes longer to prepare than the 3 orders of Lamb Chops our table ordered? Oh ok. She then asked if we wanted to see the manager. I advised her we did. The "manager" Tyler came to our table to apologize, and he literally stated, "don't worry about your orders I'll take care of it since you had to wait so long". At this point everyone in our party was done eating and we still didn't have our food. I advised him I didn't want it. FINALLY, they brought our food after over an hour and a half. And yes, it was COLD. The portion was so small for $30 for Salmon Bites with a scoop of Jasmine Rice. When it came time to pay the tab the waitress did not take off my food or the other persons food. She called the manager back over to our table and lo and behold he claims he doesn't remember saying he would take care of our orders. She was there when he said it and the whole party was there. He literally tried to argue me down about it. I told him it's not about the money because the money isn't the issue. The issue is the service was terrible and unacceptable for such a supposed "hi-profile" establishment. He was very rude and not willing to admit he said he would take care of it. He literally stated, "we have had a lot of complaints tonight and I haven't cleared anybody's check so why would I say I would do yours"? The ENTIRE table heard him say he would. At that point our party was over it. We decided to pay our tabs and leave. This place has a lot of potential to be great but as far as the service and management that will be the downfall if it's not fixed. My brother was with me, and he has owned a restaurant for the past 10 years. I work for him as well. There is no way I would treat a customer that way. Especially when we are wrong. I advised the manager of that as well. I will never come back to this restaurant. It's sad too because it's a nice place and we were having such...
Read moreI visited this club a few months ago for a birthday gathering and went back a few weeks later with my boyfriend. Both times were great — good vibe, great music, and overall a really enjoyable experience.
Fast forward: because of those two great visits, I decided to host my own birthday party there. What a mistake.
First off, they only allow reservations for 10 people per section, and each section comes with a two-hour maximum time slot. Seriously — a time limit on a reserved section? That’s unheard of and completely unreasonable for any kind of celebration.
To make matters worse, if more than 10 people show up, you’re forced to reserve an additional section — each one costing $900 plus a 25% gratuity. That policy alone makes it nearly impossible to host a normal-sized birthday gathering without spending a fortune.
When I called to express my concerns about how limiting that policy was for hosting a birthday party, the person handling reservations was extremely rude and dismissive. She said, “These are our policies, and I don’t have time to go back and forth — either you want the section or you don’t.” That level of attitude and disregard for customers is completely unacceptable.
And get this: there’s no additional seating anywhere else in the venue. So once your two hours are up, you’re literally expected to leave your section with nowhere to go — no tables, no bar seating, nothing.
It’s clear the place is geared toward celebrities and influencers, which is fine for now — but when that novelty wears off, you’ll be begging for your regular, loyal customers to come back. Those “normal” people are the ones who actually come week after week and keep your business alive.
After sending out invitations and planning everything, it was embarrassing to have to change venues at the last minute because of their inflexible and poorly managed system.
It’s such a shame, because the venue itself has potential, but the management decisions are terrible. Limiting sections, charging excessive fees, being rude to guests, and kicking people out mid-celebration is not how you run a hospitality business.
I ended up having to pivot last minute and find another venue for my birthday party. Definitely won’t be returning — and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone planning a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of experiencing V12 Bar in Atlanta for a night out with a friend to watch the fight, and it was an unforgettable evening. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm and friendly demeanor, perfectly complementing the cozy and inviting ambiance of the bar.
Our server, Lamar, was a standout. He effortlessly broke down the entire menu for us in just a few minutes, making excellent recommendations along the way. We started with their signature drink, the much-talked-about Strawberry Lemon Drop, which lived up to its reputation. Lamar also suggested the most popular appetizers, Lobster Bites and Egg Rolls, and gave us a rundown of the well-prepared entrées, including Salmon, Lamb Chops, and a private menu featuring Rasta Pasta and Miso Salmon.
It was hard to choose, but we ultimately decided to go with all of Lamar's recommendations. As we waited for our cocktails, we soaked in the vibrant atmosphere. The music was spot on, creating the perfect backdrop for the evening. Our drinks arrived strong and perfectly balanced, setting the stage for what was to come.
When the appetizers arrived, they were presented beautifully. The Lobster Bites were juicy and served atop an incredible homemade sauce that was so delicious, we wished there had been more of it. The Egg Rolls were equally impressive, bursting with flavor. Despite trying to pace ourselves, we couldn't resist devouring every last bite.
Before our entrées arrived, we ordered another round of drinks—my friend went for a classic Lemon Drop while I opted for the Rye Strawberry. When the food finally arrived, it was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The Rasta Pasta was visually stunning and tasted even better than it looked, with perfect temperature and generous portions. The Lamb Chops, prepared medium-well per my friend's preference, were tender, juicy, and had just the right amount of char. They were so good that we both rated them a perfect 10 out of 10.
V12 Bar in Atlanta exceeded all our expectations with its incredible food, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal and a great time. Don't miss out on their Lobster Bites, but make sure to ask for extra...
