I have been going to the Waffle House for 8 years I always got good service till today. I was waiting for a seat I had been there for 20min when 2 guys came in and were seated before me. The to guys just happen to be black. I looked at the guy that was hosting and he said to me oh my back dog. Then I ask why he seatted them before me and he then bang to tell me of a policy that the company had about one person in a booth. I then looked around the room there was to open seats at the low counter and one at the high counter I ask to see a manager 3 min later the manager came over at that time I thought for sure he would say sorry but he let in on me how they have a policy without even asking me what was wrong I tried to tell him and he would not let me finish while I was speaking and basically just laughed at me he was black the hostess was black. I have never discriminated against anyone and I can truly say this is the first time I felt I had been. The manager and the host disrespected me in so many ways. I thought how funny reverse discrimination I have always tiped the servers there more then I have even spent. I will never go back to this place again. I feel sorry for the servers that have always taken good care of me. This policy is so stupid. I own a small company and would never put anyone in front of some one else. ...

Read moreIn my 55 years, I’ve never had a bad experience at WH. It saddens me to say this was a horrible experience and not at all the WH norm. Despite 6 employees on duty, it took at least 5 minutes for my order to be called out. There were only 6 other people there besides my 3. I got the all-star which is my go-to order. Typically, I eat every last morsel. I barely ate anything. The toast was barely toasted, the bacon was so over cooked it wasn’t edible. The grits were disgusting. They came SOAKED in butter. I swear there was probably more butter than grits. I have never had grits like that. They have always come plain with butter on the side. When I asked the waitress for plain grits, she had no clue what I was talking about. She said the grits were premade with butter and that’s how it’s always been. Ummm….no it’s not. I asked for my waffle after my meal. I made eye contact with the waitress and said “after, like a desert, and crispy please”It came at the same time as everything else and my waffle was hardly cooked. I have had much better food and much better service in a WH with only 2 people on duty. I have never, in my life, left a WH disappointed. This was such a...
