CANNOT CANCEL DUE TO MEDICAL CONDITIONS!
Please do not join this gym! Their cancellation policy with ABC does not comply with the agreement you sign. They will hold you hostage in your agreement.
Read ABC’s email response to me in the first photo and then the screenshot of their medical cancellation options in my agreement. I provided a copy of my doctor’s recommendations and they still refuse to let me cancel my membership. I have an ongoing medical condition that will prevent me from weightlifting but they are changing the language of what the agreement states by saying “the doctor's note MUST show that the Physician is advising that you have permanent or substantial disability.”
YOU CANNOT CANCEL ONLINE!
You have to physically go into the gym and tell them you want to cancel and then they’ll send you an email to complete a questionnaire, followed by you having to contact ABC via email or phone number telling them it’s been completed. During this process, ABC is still charging your account for access to the gym.
This is unacceptable beyond belief.
Do your self a favor and go to 24/7 Workout Anytime in Loganville/ Grayson. It’s five minutes from this gym, their prices are cheaper, and their process for cancellation is way easier. Plus 24/7 Workout Anytime has multiple personal trainers. Anytime Fitness remains understaffed and their...
Read moreThis place is a joke. Dont waste your time or money. I stopped by before to see the facility and was greeted by an over zealous sales rep using the typical pushy tactics. Upon arriving the facility was incredibly crowded and no mask which made me super nervous. Although pushed I didnt sign anything that day I just wanted to see how it compared to my la membership. Aug 1 I decided I wanted to move forward as i live on the same street So i called, and called and called for 7 days with no answer. Today I called 2x and finally got someone at 545p. The guy that answered: "what do you need"... Me: "Excuse me", Guy: "what do you need", Me: "do you always answer this way", Guy: ... 20secs..., Guy: "what do you need", Me: What is your name so i can properly address you. Guy: No... 20sec, Me: ...sooo do you always have this much attitude.... Guy: Fine Its Corey... Me: I am no longer interested in these services your behavior is immature and appalling Ill...
Read moreThe equipment and space were appropriate for a gym with a premise of access at "anytime"--when I joined. The "Anytime" premise dissipated just a few months later when the gym exchanged it premise by essentially renting the space to a personal training company. I've tried avoiding the personal training maelstrom by going at all times of my day, to no avail. Throughout the day, all week, there may be 3 to 6 trainers with 1 to 2 clients each crowding the space. They coach by clapping and yelling and they are everywhere you want to be in the gym. They are courteous but with this number of people in this small space, it can get a bit constrained. I don't recommend this space unless you're patronizing the personal training company. It's too tight and crowded and workouts are available to you on a "limited" rather than "anytime" basis. I'm now stuck in a contract with a gym that I don't like and I've joined a second one so I can actually,...
