Visited DUA Vietnamese after a busy day at the Georgia Aquarium and it was exactly what was needed. After walking all day and having fried food for lunch, a soothing and fresh meal to end the day was the best way to end the night.
I ordered the House Pho which came with a combination of several meats (beef, flank, meatballs, etc.) and it was delicious. There was just enough meat and noodles to finish off the bowl with just broth at the end which was slurped up without haste! The bowl also came with bean sprouts, jalapeños, lemon, and mint. I love adding the crunch of bean sprouts to my pho so those were a great addition.
Along with the House Pho, my wife ordered the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio, a noodle dish without broth and still plenty of flavor. My wife described the meal as delicious and absolutely one of the best things she’s had while we’ve been in Atlanta. The sauce that it came with was sweet while sprinkled with chili flakes making it a sweet add-on while not adding too much spice. The pork was tender and the dressing complimented it well along with the egg roll in it which was crunchy yet satisfying and had great flavor which added to the bowl.
Overall it was a delicious meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and soothing. It felt as though they just waxed their floors which provided even more of a shine which was great, but also somewhat dangerous because it was very slippery. The staff were nice but didn’t necessarily seem to care too much. You ordered, sat, and that’s it, beyond that they didn’t care about anything else, once you were done ordering they were just straight faced and monotone.
Would rate this place higher if I could on a food scale and can’t wait to visit again...

The spring rolls are really tasty with good pork and shrimp and very strong/fresh Thai basil. The peanut sauce is also very nice :) The pho broth here (i tasted the beef pho) has a light and fresh taste that I found pleasant.
I like the style of ordering at a counter and seating yourself. The person who took our order was very nice! I even ordered a pot of green tea which wasn’t on the menu, and they accommodated me by bringing the whole table green teas. The tea itself had a nice savory matcha taste after steeping for a while.
I can tell there are a few shortages of supplies, for example everyone was using red solo cups for water instead of reusable plastic ones. The bathroom also doesn’t seem to be air conditioned and the handicap stall in the women’s bathroom was out of service. But in the main dining area they play very peaceful piano music and it’s clean with...
Read morei wish i took a photo of my meal. absolutely one of the best places to eat in atl for vietnamese food. my go to, Nam Phuong on Buford is closed due to COVID-19 but this place was open. Now, that is the true authentic vietnamese. This was americanized a bit but still soooo delicious. Decided to try it since the prices are really good especially since its in midtown.... not overpriced at all! I ordered the Spicy Lemongrass Tofu with steamed rice (i wanted something simple since i felt nauseous for the last two days) and this was the best choice by far! The meal wasnt super saucy (but was pretty spicy) although it came with extra sauce. Everything was freshly made, you can taste it. And it came with a side salad that was also very very fresh. I loved it and I really appreciated the food being high quality and fair pricing. If you shop with them, give them a tip! Anywhere you purchase takeout from during quarantine should be tipped, let them know you appreciate...
