BGR Burgers Grilled Right — Restaurant in Atlanta

Where should I start.

First off, I have never really heard of the brand or chain and from what I've heard people either love or hate the place, but it looked nice and it seemed inviting so me and my friends stopped in.

Upon arriving it was pretty packed out on a Friday night which was expected, but it was cramped, hectic, and definitely looked unorganized. Tables weren't clean and people were waiting everywhere for their food and it wasn't a nice first impression at all.

We stopped and explored the menu a bit, but while doing so we got weird looks from the staff trying to hurry us to order even though we weren't hindering any other customers etc. No greeting "hello", or welcome whatsoever.

The cashier was pretty rude and didn't have the least bit of a nice demeanor and made us feel very uncomfortable. We asked a few questions and he wasn't very accommodating or helpful and almost chastised us for being unfamiliar with the establishment. He also urged us to get drinks with our order over three times!! Which we politely declined, but he kept insisting trying to make a higher sale making us very annoyed. The whole experience ordering was very hostile and we didn't feel welcomed or whatsoever educated on their food and style.

We waited almost 15-20 minutes from our food while we saw several other guests served in the time. When we finally got our food the fries were decent but the portions were horrible. There was literally only a few fries and definitely not worth the price of around three to four dollars? And the burgers were bleh.

I asked for my burger well done and it was almost rare to the point where I couldn't eat it or enjoy it. Also a few of my toppings were missing that I requested and it had raw onions which I specifically asked for caramelized. My friends chicken tenders also looked horrible and the quality of the meat was so processed you could have mistaken it for frozen grocery store food.

Also my brother ordered a veggie burger which he described as underwhelming and actually worse than a variant Burger King serves.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the burgers and we didn't even finish eating them despite spending over 30 dollars on our food.

Oh and did I mention it was crazy over priced? We paid almost 11-12 dollars each for just a few fries and a burger that were ultimately underwhelming and especially disappointing.

Save yourself the trip and go to five guys or somewhere else worth your time and money, this definitely isn't the "great" upscale burger joint you...

When I say the employee’s as a whole were more than disappointing I wouldn’t even recommend anyone to eat at this establishment. That’s how perturbing the situation today was. I came in with my husband we ordered over $40 worth of food for two to dine in. Once we ate I couldn’t finish meal I ask not one but several employees to hand me to go boxes for meal. All at separate times informed me they ran out of to go boxes and one employee recommended a brown sandwich bag I was so perturbed I looked at my parmesan tots and said it would leak through and nothing was done. I was so livid that the women weren’t capable of finding a solution let alone didn’t care to I threw my food away with lack of assistance and/or help and asked for manager. They informed me one wasn’t available and that Tania is the manager and isn’t present to which was absurd to me and handed me her number. My husband even tried to get them to place food in to go box before we left because we weren’t receiving the customer service we paid for. My husband was very bothered and called effective immediately to find a resolution just to speak to the same person I spoke to at the location with big fro she had no solution over the phone until my husband informed her he then will contact corporate being he too owns more than one restaurant. She then told him she could have had it wrapped and that only upset us both because they gave us no solution after trying more than three individual times for the Hispanic cooks to speak negatively of us (I am foreign and can speak more than one language.) when I was very respectful and simply asked for it to just be wrapped to go. If they didn’t want to wrap it due to us eating from it that could’ve been solved if they handed me the salad bowls to utilize. They asked us to come back such that they can make it over free of charge but the point is that wasted more unnecessary time and money when they could’ve just handed me two salad bowls and we would’ve been fine and satisfied. I personally won’t be coming back and I mean that! NOT...

The food was ok. Not worth the price paid. Place was not tidy. Experience was not all that good. I wanted a shake and was told they weren't able to male it. I asked of the machine was messed up and she said no, it is because they are short staffed. Not sure if it was a reason but ok. Then after I ordered food, she asked what I wanted to drink I said nothing. After my husband and I was finished with order, the cashier asked if I still wanted the shake and I said yes, so she said she will go ahead and make it since we were literally the only ones in line. Then, once we got the food, my burger was dry. Not because of the way it was cooked...but because I had like a drop of sauce on my burger. We all know the sauce can make or break a burger. I think if the help was better, the food would have been better tasting. There is potential there for greatness..just need a little more effort...
