I am going to start off this review by saying this was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had a a restaurant ever. I went to Hard Rock visiting from Florida with my mother my best friend and my boyfriend. It was Thursday night in a busy casino, our reservation was for 8:30p. When we went in, from the moment we sat down to the 50 minutes after we were pushed out we were rushed and given no privacy. We sat down we had two waitresses, who pressured us to order drinks and our food very quickly. The gave little to no time of privacy because every two minutes they were back at the table asking the same questions. We wanted time in between courses and was not given that time. We were pressured to order all at once. Our starters were brought out and the second we finished our main courses were brought out. My friend ordered the veal from the prefix menu and not even a garnish on the plate or a small side. The plate just had two veal cutlets and sauce. It was pathetic. Chicken parm didn’t even have a pasta. Then after the main dishes were finished I specifically asked to give us some time before ordering dessert.. to which I was told by the waitress, “Well the chef is leaving so they are gonna make it and it’ll sit in the back if you want but they are gonna do what she wants cause they are leaving.” Now mind you... it’s 9:15 and the restaurant closes at 10:00. So then as fast as the plates were cleared we were given our desserts. All the while we ate I would like to point out that the wait staff was sitting at empty tables near our table, waiting to go home. It was uncomfortable it was pressured and not a fun dining experience. Then the waitress probably realizing how rude and distasteful our experience was told us that we got the big slices of Cake they have ever seen given and “ we should feel lucky”. When I tell you our dining experience of a three course meal took 50 minutes... it probably was less.. because we left the restaurant at 9:31. Then VERY shortly after receiving dessert I was given the bill and the waitress stood next to me until I took out my wallet to pay. They rushed us out so fast it was not even to be believed. The waitress gave us limonCello that was honestly horrible.... tasted like just vodka with lemons in it.. She also told us that limoncello is a shot, when actually it’s a sipped after dinner drink. Basically telling us we were wrong. Also as a side note, we were one of two tables at 9:30, so it’s not like they had to rush to close down 20 tables....It was honestly the worst I have ever seen or experienced in my life. I am honestly so annoyed, I never complain at restaurants because I know what it’s like to work in customer service, and have bad nights... But this was honestly terrible. I have never been rushed like that ever at a restaurant. If you are open till 10 then provide service till ten, if you want to get home early or close early Don’t work in a restaurant in a busy casino. We were in AC for one night only we wanted a really nice dinner out for the one night we were there and it totally ruined Our experience. I would honestly say not sure I would ever go back there. My family has been to the other restaurants of Ilmulino in the city and this is a baddddd look for them. So...

I need to express my gratitude to the General Manager for promptly reaching out to me to discuss my situation from last Saturday evening. Bruce was, warm and friendly and expressed legitimate remorse about my family's recent dining experience. He was deeply apologetic and troubled by my experience. He has a strong desire is to make it right with the hopes of getting a second chance too make a good impression. Based on our conversation I would say that they have earned that chance.
I have been involved in customer experience driven businesses for over 40 years and I have found very few managers who get it. I am happy to say that Bruce gets it! He doesn't just want things to be good he wants them to be extraordinary and he is willing to address a negative situation swiftly so as to figure out a way to create a positive one.
Thanks to Bruce's quick actions my family looks forward to visiting Il Mulino in the future and sharing in the type of experience that we have previously come to expect.
The food was excellent, unfortunately the experience did not come close to the quality of the food. The restaurant is exceptionally noisy and the wait staff was incredibly inattentive.
We were celebrating my Son's birthday at Il Mulino because he loves your location in Las Vegas, where he has had the pleasure of dining twice, and I must say I have never seen him so unhappy. As he likes to say when you dine in a restaurant such as yours, that you are not only paying for the quality of the food but equally the quality of the experience and when the experience doesn't come close to matching the food quality, well, you feel like you have been cheated, almost violated and robbed of what you have come to expect.
Unfortunately your staff at your Atlantic City location is utterly incompetent when compared to your staff in Las Vegas. In Vegas we were made to feel like Kings, in Atlantic City we were made to feel like commoners. Wait staff arguing amongst themselves, one audibly suggesting that the Captain should go to hell while finally filling our water glasses and that he would like to strike the Captain in the head with the water pitcher. Allowing water glasses to remain unfilled and rarely checking to make sure that everything was OK, when well, things were anything but OK.
I will be in Las Vegas September 7th to the 11th and I was planning to dine at your location in the Forum Shops, now I'm not quite so sure.
There is work that needs to be done in Atlantic City, some heavy lifting I'm afraid and if not attended to, it could turn what were once raving fans into...
Read moreAmazing Ambience! We thoroughly enjoyed the saxophone player that was playing from table to table! Apparently the restaurant does not employ him but since everyone loves his music they allow him to freelance for tips! So if he's there and you enjoy his talents give him a tip! He takes requests! We were impressed by every server there! So friendly & professional! Very attentive! The manager took time to explain the specials and gave his personal recommendations as he used to be a chef as well and this was our first time dining here! Upon being seated and ordering drinks we were graced with complimentary fried zucchini (amazing) and slow aged sharp cheese that was to die for! They also brought fresh bruschetta and crostini as well as Italian bread, hot pepper spicy bread with a more fried texture and focaccia bread with olives! Everything was so good I had to force myself to stop and save room for entrees! We got the Bronzino and did not realize this was the entire fish!!!!! Marco did a masterful job fileting the fish tableside! He made it look easy! This man has skills! His presentation was excellent! Enough fish for 4 people and the garlic sauce and grilled lemon complimented our palates perfectly! Sides are a la carte but are also huge! The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious! Just the right combo of veal, pork, and beef in the sauce! Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente! Given the huge portions we did not have room for dessert but Marco did bring us a nightcap of homemade pineapple moonshine shots! 😳 Overall an excellent experience! We...
