4/12/25 This time I was there alone and the service was so much better. My food was great and it was fast. I was on a "mission" before I had to get to the hotel and take a nap, so I was very pleased with the expedient service.
this previous review was from a couple years ago: From Sunday. The food was amazing, just a bit too heavy on the sass. Was having a great experience until my wife asked for the grilled onions that she ordered. The girl with the red mask and colorful hair that was working the cash register when we arrived got smart with her and told her that she couldn't have any more grilled onions. My wife told her that her attitude was inappropriate (not in those words). The cook gave her a small container of onions. My wife stormed back to our table. She was furious. Then, the cashier decided it was time to clean the dining area. She pulled out and slammed every chair at the empty tables beside us and walked by, glaring at us at least 6 times. I was really expecting my wife to say something, but she paid the girl no mind. The cashier kept this up for at least 10 minutes. One of the cooks even brought my wife a second container of grilled onions. Let's be real onions are some of the cheapest things you can put on a burger. Grilling them only takes a minute. There was no reason for her to act like that, and to continue to try to instigate a further confrontation was beyond inappropriate. It has always been Five Guys' stance to exceed expectations, particularly with portion sizes, which is why a large fry will feed a small army. That is why I am surprised that this was an issue. Fries were...
Read moreWorst location I've gotten food from. A month or so ago, I ordered delivery. When it arrived, there were no "bag fries." We all know this is half the reason for going. I didn't think it was right, but I just assumed they didn't do "bag fries" on delivery. So when I ordered today, I ordered a regular size fry (instead of small) so I would get a decent amount of fries. Not only were there no "bag fries" when it arrived, but the cup of fries wasn't even filled all the way up (see image, that's ALL the fries in my bag). I contacted the store and talked to the manager. She said they do the extra fries for delivery, so I let her know this was the second time it's happened and that she should talk to her employees. She offered no resolution - not even to pick up additional fries for my order (I wouldn't have, but even the offer would've been nice). Simply told me I could request a refund in the app. Clearly I was going to do that, and I didn't want anything free from them — but to not even offer any attempt at a resolution simply isn't how customer service works. I've never had a negative experience with Five Guys before trying this location, and after two tries, they've let me down 100%...
Read moreThis was my first time at any Five Guys and I felt like I was in a waffle house. After we ordered a large fry and a hotdog, we went to the condiment station and there were no napkins and no ketchup at all. Okay...not a big deal but annoying. The fries comes out first and they are so soggy. The hotdog comes and when he opened it up, we really couldn't even help but laugh. It was so sad. Then, a young worker walks in the door and another worker (I assume to be a manager) immediately starts going off in front of everyone because of the late employee. They end up in a verbal altercation and some of the other employees are holding the younger one since the older guy is threatening to get physical because of whatever the younger worker was saying. Anyway, the older guy starts taking out his anger on everyone and angrily shouting out customer order numbers. "Number 19, your order has been here 15 minutes- sitting in my window for minutes!!" So...that was that. The person I was with assured me that this isn't how the food normally is. The Crane Creek Dr location is entertaining though, if you want...
