I hate I have to give this. Especially since all of the staff up until my last visit were amazing!!! There is a woman there named Rachel who threw my coupon on the counter, dropped the money in my hand (indicative of racists who do not want to "touch" you), didn't look at me at all, AT ALL. No smiles and when I said " alright Rachel you have a great night. She quickly escalated her tone of voice to "Have a great night!" SARCASM.
I called the manager and spoke with Taylor. She is amazing btw. The owner was supposed to call or general manager or something but I'll never go back and here is why.
Since the beginning of this country's history we never were meant to be a part of this country. In the deep south in Augusta Georgia White people let us know this every single day. This was a reminder and I will never go back there ever again. A shopping spree couldn't make me just like Hobby Lobby's thievery and hypocrisy keeps me from there store FOREVER. I don't support stores who hire racist staff and don't go extra measures to make sure they ARE NOT hiring racists!!! This is what needs to be done because it is insidious and seeping out in this era of time. For real societal change to occur, we must take stands like this. I encourage you not...
Read more2023-04: As with any other business, prices have gone up. The selection of some items wasn't nearly what it was a couple of years ago. I couldn't even find miniatures/fairy garden items, picture boxes, or the decorative hallowed out books/sets. Dropped my rating to 3 stars.
2009: I dropped my review down to 4 stars because recently, I've noticed two differences than in the past. First, the quality of some products of their brand have declined while prices have gone up. The second, I'm guessing that theft has been an issue or I spend entirely too much time at craft stores because I've noticeably been followed or watched while shopping a couple of times now. I've heard the same from a few friends. While I understand that employees should be diligent in keeping an eye on things, I found the blatant watching to be disrespectful and giving me a negative view of how customers can be treated there at times.
2008: I've shopped here on many occasions for multiple reasons/items/projects. The staff has been helpful when I've needed help locating an item. The greatest thing I love about this location is the cashiers have always been friendly and apply coupons to my purchases, even when I don't have any...
Read moreI have been to Conyers, ga and Snellville, ga locations. I have to say there is all good things about the Conyers location. But with the Snellville, there are so many things I could say starting with walking in and dealing with the cashier. Walking in smelled as if me, my daughter and son just walked into a porter potty dump. I was told when another store next to then has plumbing issues, the smell comes into their store. The smell was so heavy it literally was taking our breath. I got what I had to get and left, we couldn’t even stay around and look. I could hear other customers talking about how bad the smell was and asking the employees why it was so bad and/or what it was. On top of that the store was so messy, I couldn’t find anything I was looking for but the ribbon. The cashier has no personality whatsoever, didn’t seem as if she was too interested on answering questions about coupons/discounts, as I also informed her it was my first time in any Michaels stores. )yes I know that’s sad, but I will be back to the Conyers one soon) The lady acted as if she had been there all day and had had about enough of the...
