I got the classic burger, a cheese burger that comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, jalapeños, ketchup, mustard and mayo (which I customized to remove the mustard and the pickles). It was delicious and I devoured it. I also got two churros for dessert. I think they were supposed to come with chocolate or caramel dipping sauce, but even without the sauce these churros were delectable. The sweet and crispy exterior coated in cinnamon sugar contrasted with the soft interior filled with vanilla bean pastry cream makes for a truly tasty dessert.

No frills, just good burgers! Fries are not bad, burgers are great. Good grilled taste with fresh (actually fresh) lettuce and tomato...Pick your toppings. $10 for 1/2 pound burger, fries and soda. Sit outside at picnic tables under a shade tent (no indoor seating - and they only have burgers and fries). Directly across the street from the convention center. If you are at a conference and want a good burger, this is the place to go.

Food truck near the Austin Convention Center. Very reasonable prices. I ordered an Onion Ring Burger, came with onion rings, cheese, jalapeños, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, mustard and ketchup. Very delicious and very flavorful. You can make a combo and get fries for +$2 or +$3 onion rings. I also had an horchata. They have a card reader, tap friendly as well for anyone not carrying cash.

I hired Downtown Burgers to cater an event for 40 people. We corresponded with the co owner of this company for months, and the catering was confirmed weeks in advance. The day of they never showed and they never contacted me to let me know they were unable to cater the event. I had to call the owner for assistance in order to have original Downtown Burger representative return my call. I was given an excuse about the truck breaking down and no offer to resolve the issue was offered. I would not recommend this service for any event and I am definitely disappointed in how the situation was handled.

Follow Up-

After I posted about my experience on Google I read the company’s response, and what they are stipulating is untrue. I made all arrangements directly with Downtown Burgers and not Truckster like response stipulates. I have the emails to prove it. It is completely irresponsible for this company to blame Truckster, when they chose to not communicate effectively. A simple response and apology via email would have been the appropriate course of action. It is clear that this is a subpar business who lacks communication skills and professionalism....

Welcome to Amaze-burger! That’s what you will say after the first taste of a Downtown Burgers masterpiece. This reviewer said Aloha to the Hawaiian Burger. A stuffed and swollen 1/4 pound patty boasting a luscious entourage of ham, American white cheese, grilled pineapple, jalapeños and a host of crisp, fresh vegetables rounds out this delectable tour de force. My taste buds shrieked ‘Mahalo’ to this quasi-Polynesian culinary rock star. The cheese curds, delicately cooked to semi-perfection, were just the right mélange of decadent overindulgence and familial Midwestern modesty rounded out a stellar gastronomical experience. For a fierce, weapons-grade rendition of (almost) everyone’s favorite classic, look no further than...

Ordered a burger and two orders of wing combos. Ordered one of the combos with onion rings. When we were leaving, my husband inquired about the onion rings. The guy said he "forgot" and told us to hold on. I saw him pull frozen onion rings out and dump them into the fryer. (Uh-oh). The burger was perfect. The 14.00 wing combo (6 very small wings) was NOT. The chicken tasted...old? It was horrible. You're probably wondering why we ordered chicken wings from a burger truck. The truck came to our subdivision a couple of years ago and the wings were awesome! Apparently these were the same wings from that day. Fries and onion rings were mediocre. ...
