La Perla Bar — Restaurant in Austin

I recently visited La Perla, and my experience was disappointing. While the atmosphere had potential, the service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. The food was mediocre, lacking both flavor and presentation.

The cleanliness was also an issue; the tables felt sticky, and the restroom needed attention. I understand busy nights can lead to some mess, but this felt like a regular occurrence.

Overall, I recommend looking elsewhere for a night out. There are better spots in the area that truly value...

Was told to go to this area. Do we went in to have a drink. We left to try food at a food truck across the street....and was towed. Gone for 15 mins and towed. Told by others on the street they employee wait and tow everyone, even paying customers!! They get money from the towing company reliant. I am filing charges. Everyone call 311 and report both the bar and towing company. It helps to make them stop.

If they would have told us, we would have let them know that is our car we are customers. But nope, they want...

Really nice atmosphere; clientele are a FUN mix of genuine Austinites, college kids, young urban professionals (YUPPIES), TOURISTS and a curious mix of artists, etc., etc. Beers are Iced-cold; and the price is SUPER RIGHT, amidst a sea of "trendy and way OVERPRICED BOUTIQUE BARS Perla Bar is well worth, actually more than well worth, a visit.
