Really bad service, they didn't want to serve a group of 10 because they were "overwhelmed"
Response: The owner/manager was initially very pointed and rude when our team coach came in to ask about requesting a table. Despite being mistreated immediately, our coach was very patient and friendly. It was not until our coach said he was willing to sit with his team outside and wait for our orders nearly 45 minutes (while each family ordered separately) that the owner/manager was even willing to provide menus and give any semblance of customer service. We returned outside to gather our team and review the menu. When we came back in to order as directed, one staff member immediately walked up to one of our families and told them that if they wanted to eat they'd have to wait longer. They didn't target any other family that was entering the restaurant in the same way. Once the first order was placed, the same owner/manager walked up and told the kitchen staff and cashier that the kitchen was now closed. He did not say it would reopen later, just stated plainly that it was closed and the remaining team members were unable to order. The entire experience was disconcerting. The food could have been wonderful, but we will never know because we never made it past the poor customer service provided by the...
Read moreWorst service! Erica was super rude. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. I have been to many other restaurants in Avon and Vail with way better service and ones that are extremely busy. With long wait times and every table taken.
I used to work in the food industry for many years. If you are stressed or frustrated you shouldn’t be rude to your customers.
Prior to today, I had ordered their breakfast sandwich 5 other times on different days. Today, it tasted like a ball of salt. No apology was given. The waitress was not willing to remake the sandwich and it was a struggle to get the sandwich off of our bill.
Why am I going to spend money on my vacation to be treated this way. You might have lost 2 new customers, but we have family and friends out here who are frequent customers. I will make sure to tell them to spend their money at a different restaurant. One that is nice to their customers. After all, if it weren’t for the us customers then “Loaded Joe’s” wouldn’t stay open. Loaded Joe’s should really take a look at their staff to make sure they are treating their customers right.
The eye rolling and attitude is extremely...
Read moreWe frequently have visited this place on all trips to Vail, Beaver Creek, and on our way to Glenwood. Each time it seems the service declines. It’s unfortunate, as the location it great and the menu conceptually, is good as well. We have a time share across the street, and this has been our go to for morning coffee, breakfast, evening cocktails & dinner... but, I’m sad to say, no longer. I will spend my time and money elsewhere, where it’s at least slightly appreciated. I always hate to make assumptions, but seems ownership and/or management is lacking some serious leadership/coaching skills & knowledge in the guest service area. I’m sure profit margins are ok, but in a world of declining emphasis on guest service, this is just another run of the mill spot that may make it? But man, so disappointing, cause it could be twice as busy. And when volume is up, minimum labor deployment, food cost, operating cost, etc. shrink and margins grow. But YOU already know that, your a business leader right!?! Those damn tourists, how dare they provide for you and your team...
