I. want. to. eat. at. Cilantro. every. single. day.

Cilantro is the most delicious, fresh, affordable meal in the neighborhood. This is a truly authentic, locally owned restaurant that puts love in the food and care into the customer service experience. The staff is warm and welcoming and I always love talking with them. If something's not right, let them know and they'll help you out. Ask them about their favorite items! Ask them how their dishes are made!

Great place to go with coworkers.

I'm always amazed that you can get such authentic Mediterranean food so close to the Inner Harbor. My favorite dish is the chicken or lamb shawarma platter with lots of toppings and vegetables. You have to check out their unlimited toppings like hummus, baba ganough (insanely tasty eggplant dip) and pickles.

I've had dreams about their lafa bread - no joke, it's that good!

Mu husband has a lot of dietary restrictions, but Cilantro has options for everyone. There are even gluten free, vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan and carnivorous choices. Don't forget dessert. The chocolate mousse is creamy and chocolatey without being overpowering. It's not expensive, but feels like a decadent treat.

These sandwiches were so delicious!! We got a spicy falafel and a mixed shawarma pita and both were really tasty. The spicy sauce on the falafel was so flavorful and the portion size was amazing. The mixed shawarma pita was stuffed full to the brim of chicken, lamb, and beef and it was incredible. The ratio of meat to toppings in the pita was like 4:1 and that’s how it should be!! The toppings that were in the pita were also very tasty - fresh, seasoned, and added the nice vinegar and crunch that was needed in the pitas. I wish that the falafel was maybe a touch crunchier, but that definitely could be a result of transportation/delivery. The pita was also very good - soft, but it didn’t fall apart under all of the fillings inside. The two little containers had tahini and (we think???) some sort of tzatziki sauce. The tahini was very standard - creamy, sesame-y, delicious. The tzatziki (again, no idea if it was actually tzatziki it just tasted of dill and herbs and so that was our first thought) was also flavorful, if a little thin. This was a great experience! I’m excited to try more...

In town for a conference and decided to give this restaurant a try after reading the excellent reviews. Great authentic Mediterranean food! I tried the lamb shawarma and was not disappointed. The lamb was flavorful, juicy and cooked to perfection. My choice of sides were hummus (Chickpea puree with tahini, garlic and spices), Mediterranean Salad (Tomato, Cucumber salad with red onion sumac and lemon; Mediterranean rice, Cabbage Salad (Green cabbage with carrots and vinegar), Fried Eggplant and Tzatziki Sauce (Yogurt sauce mixed with dill, mint and cucumber). The ā€œplateā€ portion is huge and comes with a warm fluffy pita bread. The restaurant staff were courtesy, friendly...

I had a shawerma craving and boy, did this place not disappoint! I ordered the mixed shawerma plate (lamb and chicken shawerma) with a few extra falafels for takeout. I loved that there were about 10 different Mediterranean salads/sides to choose from and that I could fill my bowl with all of them! The fried eggplant, hummus, and salads were just soooo good! The side pita was also delicious and chewy. They had a variety of sauces to choose from as well. The price point was affordable, the food quality was high, and the portions were extremely generous. All in all, would highly recommend checking out this place!
