Nice looking little place. Very clean and well-kept. After being seated, the initial service was slow, but not egregiously so. Potstickers were just fine - pretty standard fare for a reasonably priced Asian restaurant, but nothing to write home about. My wife's red curry with tofu reportedly was very good. My son's green curry with tofu reportedly was "pretty good." And that's where things took a turn for the worse.
My Neau Yang (marinated grilled beef on skewers, spelled "Neua" at other establishments) looked fine, but it ... wasn't. It was one of the most severely overcooked dishes I've ever encountered (and I had a German mother for whom well done was never well enough, so I know "overcooked"). This dish was Doc Marten shoe leather tough, dry and dark gray throughout. It's as if they forgot that it had been placed on the grill, and cooked it 15 minutes too long, but without over-charring the outside. Weird.
When the waitress checked in on our table, she saw that all but one bite of my meal remained on the plate, so she asked if I needed a box. I responded no, because it was inedibly overcooked. She said "oh," and took my plate. No questions, no apology, no indication whether they were making a replacement dish.
About 10 minutes later, a waiter came over with our bill and informed me that they had taken 50% off of the returned dish. 50% off of a plate of inedible food that I touched only to discover that it was inedible?!?!?! Again, no question from the server whether they could prepare me another dish, no apology, no nothing. Absolutely bizarre and entirely inadequate to address the situation.
We really wanted to like this place, as finding a reliably good Thai restaurant is like gold for a family containing vegetarians and non-vegetarians. However, the food and customer service issues we experienced mean we will not be back and will not recommend this...
Read moreHad one of the strangest experienced at this place. We were 8 people, called a day ahead and made reservations. When we for there we were ready to order main course as we had a movie to catch next door. The waiter was taking our order and already gave us a heads up that he will make mistakes with the order as it seems like he has had the issue earlier that day. As it was in the evening we wanted to be understanding and be clear and specific with our orders. We made it clear what dishes has to be pure vegetarian. It very important for few people in our party as it's a culture thing. We specifically asked for fresh tofu in the vegetarian dish but they can with Fried tofu and fish oil. The mango salad came with shrimp though we asked for vegetarian. The got one dish with egg though we asked for vegetarian. One of the servers was trying to argue with us that egg is vegetarian, she also asked us to look it up. It was obvious that the kitchen is making these mistakes and the service staff were aware of it. But still wanted to push the wrong dishes on to us because they fear they will be charge for the dishes if they take it back. The service staff had no basic customer service skill. There were couple dishes we insisted they take it back. Staff got it removed from the bill. It's surprising they are in business with such basic disregard to customers. On top of this bill comes with tip added. Of course this could be because of a party of over 6 people. For such a prime location this is a bellow par place to eat at. Not worth the...

My wife and I were craving Thai food and we found ourselves in beaverton so we popped by Thai Noodle.
Interestingly enough, they were able to seat us in one of about four well spaced tables. We were planning to get take out but decided to dine in since they offered and this was a novelty given the obvious issues with covid.
Everything inside was clean they were very friendly. There was a flurry of activity as they attended to a crazy amount of online orders, but it wasn't bothering.
The food came crazy fast and everything looked great. The problem is that the food was just not good. It wasn't gross, but it definitely wasn't good.
We each ordered a different curry dish (massuman (sp?) and yellow curry), which came with rice. We also ordered some appetizer rolls which were actually pretty good.
We tried to eat a bit of the curry, but it just wasn't cutting it. We packed it all up to go, paid our bill, went home and out it in the fridge.
Next day I tried the curry again. Maybe it's me, but I like Thai left overs. But the result was the same. Just not good. So I ended up just tossing it all.
For specifics, the problem was with the potatoes, which tasted gritty and old and the chicken which tasted like nothing whatsoever but had a very stringy and firm texture.
Maybe they had a bad night. I don't know. But these guys are...
