So I’m giving them 3 stars because the food is delicious and the wait took awhile because they’re severely understaffed BUT from when we walked in to when we walked out it took 2 hours. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. We didn’t get water for 45+ minutes. Today was 100° in Seattle, half our party walked to our car to get our water bottles to have water to drink. They brought us our appetizers after about 50 minutes and we didn’t get an plates with it. Another 10 minutes go by and no plates so I walked to find a waitress and asked for plates. When we finally got them they were all dirty. They brought us our soup we ordered and also didn’t get bowls or spoons. Every dinner entree came out about 5-7 minutes after one another so by the time the 5th person in our party got their food the first person was done eating. When we were done I had to walk around to find a waiter to ask for the bill. After 10 minutes we didn’t get it. We walked around again to get it. We asked for boxes and never got them so we found them and got them ourselves. Overall, the food is amazing but they have 3 people working the entire restaurant including to go orders, seating people, serving, cleanup, taking the bill, etc. in the 2 hours we were there none of the previous tables of people who dined in were cleaned. The staff is very very nice but clearly they are understaffed and over worked. There were always about 15 people at the front waiting for their to-go order throughout the whole night.
I would suggest going during the day or on a week night. Or, order ahead and then come pick up 60-90 minutes later, not even joking. Again, the food is delicious so I think it’s worth it but only if you have several...
Read moreHad dinner reservations for 5:00pm yesterday. Only two other parties in the restaurant. It took a very long time for anyone to take our order. There were four of us and we asked for two separate checks upfront when we ordered. It took a LONG time for the two in our party to get receive their meals. After 20 minutes, I and my granddaughter had not received our dinners. I asked a waitress going by if they could check. 10 minutes later, my granddaughter received her dinner. After another 10 minutes, I asked where my dinner was and 5 minutes after that I received my dinner which was too hot to eat right away which gave me the impression they had just made it. When we were finished we had to flag a waitperson for some boxes. They took two of the plates and I asked for my boxes to be brought to table. 15 minutes later, no boxes so I had to go to the kitchen to ask for them. We also had to ask for our check and finally someone came with them, but then it was several minutes later for them to pick up our credit cards and return to us. I ordered Pad Thai and my granddaughter ordered garlic prawns. My Pad Thai was just average and granddaughter's prawns were deep fried and way over done. I am not sure what happened as I had heard great things about this place. But with hardly any customers and plenty of waitstaff, we did not have a good experience. I will not be...
Read moreThe Bellevue location is excellent. The drunken noodles and seafood salad are my favorite dishes. Great flavor and the right amount of spice. The food tastes very fresh and the drunken noodles are cooked to perfection.
DO NOT GO TO THE RENTON LOCATION At least not for a while. I dined tgere today and ordered my two favorites. Both were terrible. The noodles had no flavor and were loaded with sesame oil. Completely inedible. I felt sick after a couple of bites. Totally not the same dish as the Bellevue location.
The seafood salad which I ordered as Spicey 4 had no spice at all. The scallops were undercooked. None of the seafood had any flavor. It tasted like they simply threw it in boiling water for a couple of minutes and dumped it on top of the noodles. So disappointing.
The Thai Tea arrived well after I had shoved my disappointing meal to the side so I refused to take it. But it also had no resemblance to the amazing Thai Tea at the Bellevue location.
I get that this is grand opening week. But it appears the entire staff from the previous Thai 65 remained and they are still using the same low quality ingredients and low flavor recipes. No one should ever experience bad Thai food. It is the most amazing food on the planet.
This location will ruin the Nibbana name if the food quality isn't addressed IMMEDIATELY.
The waitress...
