To the last review given, I am the one that recommended capitol. I rather lay down in traffic then get served by that bartender again. There were 2 female bartenders that night, the taller one was very nice, the one with the brunette ponytail with the red bandana, is gonna get y'all sued real quick. I went out to the bars (7-5-24) with my roommate. I was intoxicated, but still very aware of my surroundings. My roommate was sober and DD. Not only did we both witness MULTIPLE FALSE TRANSACTIONS (wrong order/wrong person) I personally had to reach to the other side of the bar to grab the CREDIT CARD belonging to the gentleman next to me, NOT THE WOMAN ACROSS THE BAR who she slap it down in front of. I am a younger female, and I ALWAYS WATCH where the bartenders hands are at all times, especially if I had ordered something. Not only did my own drink get messed up, but she poured more alcohol on the bar than in the cups. Same with the couple next to me who I do not know, (2 tequila sunrises that ended up being AMFs on the tab $30) Both of our botched drink orders somehow, made it on to a DIFFERENT persons tab (2 guys that only ordered 2 coronas). Like any normal person, YOU DONT WANT TO PAY FOR SOMETHING YOU DID NOT ORDER. They paid in cash $100, $20 was the change, all the drinks were pushed up to front of the bar untouched. They wanted a refund for the drinks they didn’t order. We then tried to notify the same bartender. She then immediately went to the other side of the bar when she saw us trying to flag her down. (At this point the couple had left, due to bad service) we did manage to get a different male bartender over and explained the situation, he immediately sighed (as if this is a normal issue) and brought her over. She then started to antagonize them/telling them they’re wrong, and instead of listening to what they were asking. She then rolled her eyes, put her hands up in the air and remade the 3 drinks (couldn’t even tell you what those ones were supposed to be) and about 8 Jell-O shot telling them that they are all good at that point. I watched as the guys push all of it back up to her saying no, she then began to get very frustrated with them saying they were too drunk and such. Why are you giving them more then?? At this point I apologized to the guys, handed 2 cards back to their correct owners, and left without getting my own drink. I was a big fan of Astros up until this night. Once again, would rather lay down in Traffic. I never have had that bad of an issue with this bartender before, I have had rude experiences with her including on my birthday months prior. Could have just been a bad night, but what I witnessed last weekend was disgusting, unprofessional and...
Read moreIf I could leave -5 stars I would. The staff and a man that claimed to be the "owner" were obnoxiously rude. The first night that we showed up, the "owner" was eating chicken wings at the front door while checking IDs. We made light of the fact that he was licking his fingers clean and he replied in a very snarky tone that "we didn't have to come in". We elected at that point to keep moving down the street and found a great bar to go to instead. The next night we thought we would give it another shot and that is when things got even worse. We were asked for our ID once inside by the owner right in front of the female bartender. 30 seconds later the bartender asked us for our ID again. We attempted to make a joke about us just getting ID checked and she replied with yet another snarky remark of "we don't have to serve you". We awkwardly laughed and gave over our IDs. We didn't feel the need to leave a tip based on her service. She responded to our 0 dollar tip by telling the manger to cut us off from being served any more drinks for the rest of the night. We explained to him what happened and he laughed in our face and replied with "I have to support my bar staff". We calmly finished our drinks and on our way out tried to order one drink. The male bartender asked for our ID for the third time since we'd been there and we handed it over no issue. He was going back to grab ingredients to start making our drink when the female bartender whispered something to him. He came back and told us we were cut off. I asked why, and he replied that we were "drunk and aggressive". We had had one drink that evening. We explained the situation and yet again we were laughed out of the establishment. I have never been so disrespected in an establishment or failed so miserably by upper management. It was a classic "mean girl" situation in which the owner supported and even contributed to. I will...
Read moreOur initial sit down and being served was great. I had explained we were from out of town and if there was anything he would recommend for us we were willing to try new things. He served us great drinks however I informed him we were getting pretty cold as we were the only table with no heater. He politely apologized and said “those are the only two heaters we have.” We decided to continue our walk to look for another place to eat and finish the tab, but just then a couple walked up who sounded like they knew the waiter. He then told them right next to us that there are fire pits in the back with no one back there at the moment and starts to walk them back. We had given him a reasonable tip before he had given that information, and after the fact we felt as though there was special treatment for people who actually know the waiter. Due to this treatment we were very upset and feel disrespected. We would have stayed longer and ordered our food there if we had known this information, now we may...
