Lots of great reviews on this place and it's definitely a good option. Unfortunately it's not a great option. 😟 To me pizza is ALL about the crust, so if that is not excellent, you're not going have an amazing pie. The crust here was good, not great. There was little to no edge on the pie and it was more like focaccia bread than what I like which is a crispy on the outside, chewey on the inside with a strong tangy sourdough flavor. That's my preference, so perhaps your's is different and this works for you. I want a rustic crust with some quality toppings and the crust just did not do it for me. I was driving through Bend in a First Friday, so it was a bit hectic, probably way more than usual. The space was small, but nicely done. The staff was hard working and helpful, but the wait was more than I would have liked 30+ minutes total. Overall it was good, just not great. Next time I'm coming through Bend I'll be looking for something that better suits my pallet.

Stopped in to grab a slice of piece and a garlic knot as my stomach was rumbling while relaxing around Bend! I was quickly welcomed in by Haley L. who is such a great human. There vibrations are high and there kindness is unbelievable! I asked what was on the Veggie Slice and she pulled out the entire Pie to show me and go over the ingredients. Which has Tomatoes, Red Peppers, Spinach, Pesto, Mozzarella! The flavors mirrored each other and was an amazingly thin yet perfected crust as well. $5.00 The Garlic knot was amazing the texture was perfect and the taste was impeccable, with the added Garlic Sauce! $1.50 I also was supplied an awesome brownie as well and it was just what I needed to bring me some cheer! Thanks a million for having me and the amazing food!

This is my go-to for a quick bite for cheap. The portions you can get for the price are more than fair, not to mention the specials they have at different times throughout the day, which include: Lunch special - 11:00-3:30pm Slice, salad, and drink for $5.75 After mountain Special - 3:30-5:30pm Two slices and bottomless soda for $5.50 Twilight special - 8:00pm-close Half off any drinks, salads, and starters if you buy a whole pizza Slices are typically around $2.50-$3.00 ea, and they have these dilicious "garlic knots" that are simply scrumptious! If you need a quick and easy place to eat downtown, this is your stop. Be wary though, seating is limited and it can get crowded around dinnertime.

PARTY, ...PIZZA PARTY!!! HEY!!! I've been patronizing this hole-in-the-wall joint for many moons now (20 Years??) and finally have time to tell you my thoughts. Although I miss their organic turkey pie, they're still my go-to pizza spot whenever I'm in bend. I generally get a whole pie but have been known to snatch up a variety of slices from the ever-changing pizzas on deck. They have just the right amount of beers on tap, so there should be something for the most discerning tastes. Dine-in, sit outside and watch Bend go by, or get it to-go! Do yourself a favor and add arugula after bake to nearly any pie and you'll discover the harmony it reveals. You can't lose with PIZZA MONDO, YO!
