Worthy Brewing Downtown — Restaurant in Bend

I was excited to try this place for the first time as we just bought a vacation house in the heart of bend. We have always passed by and it looked like a really fun, casual restaurant. However, I was extremely displeased with the service and I will never come back here again. We ordered drinks and dinner and the man taking our order was so rude. Immediately we were asked if we wanted to add gratuity, which I think is so rude, and it only started at 18%. Service was well below worth tipping 18%. As customers waited he sat and chatted with his buddy who was the bartender not even paying attention to his customers. Food was really poor quality but the drinks were great. When we asked to get another round we were told we had to get back up and wait in line, the line was out the door so we passed but I was shocked he didn’t ask to take our cards and make our drinks. My girlfriend and I used to absolutely love worthy taps and tacos they used to have a really nice staff that almost knew us on first name basis. They used to have 10 or more different kinds of tacos that were delisiouse! Today march 21st 2021. We went for lunch and a beer and we were so disappointed! They had only 4 kinds of tacos to choose from! Dont call yourself a taco shop if you only have 4 tacos ! The staff was fine but not as personable as the previous staff was. As far as I can gather they changed the menu and got a new staff because COVID. Im sorry but COVID it not a reason to change everything. Some of the best and most creative tacos in Oregon. Juan Infante is the chef behind this greatness. He has created a menu of clever, unique, and delicious tacos and salsas that revive the taste buds dulled by other food options. It's not fast food, but it comes out to you pretty quickly. The beer is great as well. I love me some strata ipa and the wife loves her some worthy ipa. A smaller joint, but the location, people watching, and atmosphere are great. Food, merch, and beers to go make this place a stop to stop at. Kylie and Juan have this space running like a fine oiled machine of yummy.
