Lark Mountain Modern — Local services in Bend

Me and my wife have been living in Ben for 15 years now We own a business here we contribute to the community on a regular basis Every year we take a stroll downtown we go in a little stores we buy something we may not even need it, we just like helping local businesses we decided to go in larks never have been in this store before as soon as we entered the store we were approached by. I guess she worked there and she says oh you’re back again. Me and my wife looked at each other we were so puzzled. We have never been in this store before so we assume that she mistake us for someone else so we just decided to walk around pick up a few things I had some items in my hand. This lady rushes out the back room and said I’ll take those for you I said oh OK that’s fine, after about 10 minutes of browsing, my wife finally says let’s just get the items they have holding for us up at the desk and then we’ll go so we walk up to the desk there’s four women behind the desk not a one ask us may I help you? Is there something I can help you with? They ignored us completely so it was clear that we were mistaking. For someone else after about five minutes of standing there, no one helped us. My wife tapped me on my shoulder and says let’s go. I said oh OK. Let’s go. I’ve experienced these type of things before. Yes, you are racist. Yes, you are. There is no doubt about it your business the way that you handled The situation whatever Mistaken identity you had Perceived us to be someone else we have never been in your store and we never ever will return. You are the worst business owners that I have come across in a long time. You have no idea how much money you have lost with your attitude. I am surprised there still...

Wife and I visit Bend 2-3x/year and we ALWAYS stop in here. Friendly staff, great products, we always find something nice to take home with us.

But yesterday evening (9/20), Liz went above and beyond to help us find exactly the product we wanted, something we’ve been eyeballing for a few years. Leonard got it wrong... I felt compelled to review. The customer service Amy gave me when she insisted on taking the items out of my hand to hold at the register allowed me to grab more fun stuff. Customer service used to exist like this everywhere and it's refreshing to feel this experience in such a cute shop. . . And actually, this customer service experience expands to all the businesses we've explored so far...
