Visiting Boston from NYC and stumbled on this place on my last night (Sunday 9/7). They only opened the Thursday past. Drafts weren't working when I got there but it was all figured out pretty quickly and I had no problem having PBR! Food wise, my partner and I had the mozzarella sticks, shrimp tacos, fries, and Nashville hot tenders and everything was delicious!! Shout out to Capone who was super friendly and made sure we were good. While I didn't catch their names, the woman with blonde hair and eyeliner like so perfect it could cut you and the man with the Cannibal Corpse tour shirt were also wonderful! Also, not sure if it was the owner, co-owner or head chef but he really took care of us but didn't catch him to say thanks! Everyone was cool, drinks were cold, food was solid, the women's bathroom is a design masterpiece, and classic rock was playing. Solid time. All the best to the entire staff...
Read moreMy friends and I saw that they were selling tickets for their club upstairs during Halloween weekend so we bought tickets - which sold out fast. When we got to Ghost Light, on the day, we were told we could not go upstairs because it was at full capacity, and we would have to join the waitlist, which we had no problem doing. When we joined the waitlist, we were told that it was first come first serve even though we purchased tickets ahead of time. They told us it didn’t matter that we bought tickets and we would have to wait. We left soon after since the waitlist was an hour long and we were most likely not going upstairs.
The issue is that Ghost Light did not honor the tickets they were selling and could organize their...
Read moreWe booked a reservation before a show and got there right on time. There was a line, so by the time we got to the desk, it was three minutes over. The hostess said they had no tables available, and tried to initially say it was our fault because we were late. When she quickly realized how inappropriate that was, she apologized and tried to add a table to accommodate us. It took twenty minutes to get a table set up while we waited. We finally sat, and did not get silverware or a waiter over for another fifteen minutes. And when we looked around, many other people had not gotten food, so we realized it would probably be way longer to even eat, with how slow they were, and we would probably be late for our show at that point. We decided to leave as it has been over 50 minutes and we still didn’t have a menu. What’s the point of a reservation if you can’t accommodate....
