I almost never leave reviews, but I feel like people need to be warned about the gaslighting, dishonesty, and completely unprofessional behavior from the staff here.
This was hands down the worst service I have ever experienced. When we first arrived, the bartender told us it was open seating and that we could order at either the bar or our table. A server then came over and said she would be right with us โ but we waited over 40 minutes without anyone checking in. When a server finally approached, she told us we weren't allowed to sit at a table unless we were ordering food โ despite being told otherwise by her and two bartenders earlier.
We said we would order food, but the server never came back. We ended up ordering at the bar, only to be told again by the server to stop ordering at the bar โ even though she was nowhere to be found. Keep in mind, there were only two other tables occupied in the whole place.
Every time we went to the bar, we could clearly see our server behind it, taking shots and selfies instead of doing her job. When we politely asked if someone could come to our table, she repeatedly lied, saying there were no servers available โ while simultaneously telling us we weren't allowed to sit there.
On top of all that, the drinks were incredibly weak for how expensive they were. After spending $200 on drinks and being treated like an inconvenience in an empty restaurant, we definitely won't be back. I really wish I had read the other negative reviews beforehand โ they were...

I don't know the name of the server (as she never told us), but it was the worst service my friends and I have ever had. After she sat us, we waited quite a bit for her to even come back over to our table and take our drink order. Once we got our drinks, she forgot our waters and never came back to check on us. We had to flag her down to get water and a second round of drinks. We would have ordered food and another round but we realized we'd be late to a show based on the service we were getting.
If the bar was packed and busy, it would have been understandable that service was slower, but the tables were getting no attention because your server was on her phone the entire time. She was posted up at the end of the bar sending selfies on Snapchat (with another employee) and texting paragraphs to her friends. Her phone brightness was all the way up and all of the tables facing the bar could see exactly what she was doing instead of taking care of the customers.
We had to flag her down once again to get our check and she came over and just left the portable card reader on our table and vanished to go be on her phone again. The vibe of this bar is great, hope you find better...
ย ย ย Read moreBuyer Beware! I was on a work trip in Boston and decided to venture outside the hotel to find a cheaper drink, but I made a mistake. Intrigued by the divvy atmosphere, pop rock music, and quirky bartenders, I ended up camping out at this spot to get some work done. Now I understand prices vary bar to bar, but never in my life have I seen a charge on my tab for ICE, let alone $3 per drink. After inquiring with the bartender, they say it's because they pour extra alcohol when drinks are poured on the rocks. Again pours can vary bar to bar, and as a former bartender I was trained to pour 1.5oz for mixed drinks and 2oz for rocks drinks. The drinks I received were definitely 2oz or less, and the crusty atmosphere did not warrant a Jameson on the rocks costing $15, this coming from a NYer well versed in outrageous prices. Being from the industry, I obviously left my minimum 20% tip, but with prices like these you are much better off on a rooftop bar or even...
