Hello. I have traveled to various Denny’s locations country wide and this location specifically delegated worse service than (Miami Florida) a high tourist trafficked area. I ordered two breakfast meals on DoorDash the food pickup or delivery service app, And the app said our order is ready. My pregnant wife and I drove from our apartment because we are locals here 6 months out of the year, to pick up our order. Upon arriving, I see the place is bouncing but not at max capacity when I stepped inside. I approached the counter and let the cashier/host know I was here to pickup our breakfast order we placed via DoorDash, and the host/cashier said okay let me check on it. She then returned and said it’s going to be about 20 minutes. I was shocked then, but that’s not the best part. After that, the manager of the franchise that was leaning on the host podium very childishly approached me and said are you here for a DoorDash? I answered yes! She stated and I quote verbatim, “you should cancel it” I said excuse me? She said “yeah you should just give it to another driver, otherwise it is going to be about 25 minutes.” I said no no no, I apologize, I am not a driver I am here to pick up the order that I have already paid 44.67 for. After I said that she said “Ohhh okay well it is still going to be about 25 to 30 minutes because we are busy” (remember they are not at max capacity, have half of the seating in the restaurant closed because the incompetent staff through and through were incredibly overwhelmed which is absurd because they were put in those positions to be able to handle a high trafficked tourist area and are completely incapable) and I said to here politely as my confusion, anger and frustration were rising okay I will go grab some coffee and then return to pick up our order. She states “take your time getting your coffee we are going to be a while here” And then I proceeded to leave incredibly confused upset and angry. Approximately 20 mins later I returned from getting coffee, and walked inside and they were bagging my order which again, was two basic meals. And fruit cup, for my pregnant wife.

Read moreFirst, we waited forever. They seen us but didn't get in any hurry to seat us. There was maybe 3 small groups of people in the entire restaurant.
So we went to the bathroom full of feces, washed our hands and went back out.
Waited.
Sat down and stared at the two women who were handing food to the single waitress.
Waited, watched them laugh and joke amongst themselves while glancing our direction here and there....
FINALLY one comes out and seats us by a family that I'm assuming was grandma, mom, two kids.... hacking their freaking heads off. Not just a little cough, wet HACKING.
We quickly got the menus and silverware and moved ourselves.
Order the t-bone steak dinners. I get a salad with mine. The tomato had thick, VERY VISIBLE MOLD on where the stem would've been. The cucumbers were cut so thick they were inedible, plus they'd been frozen so had that weird slime to them. Think I pulled out more rotted lettuce than I ate. The ranch also had sizable clumps in it, think large curd cottage cheese.
When our meals came, the potatoes had funky dried up crust from sitting out. The steak was...wet? Not cooked juice kinda wet, more like OLD MEAT that's began breaking down, rotting.
Had we not been starving, we would've left.
I asked for a discount, 10% or something.... so instead of doing what she should've done and comping the meals, she gave me the 10%. Can't fault her there, that's what I mentioned.
Fast forward to later that evening. I'm sick. Hadn't ate anywhere but there and some sealed snacks we brought from home.
Up all night sitting in the bathroom.
Next day, can't hardly function because I'm so tired. Couldn't do much unless there was a bathroom near. Stomach was not well or happy.
So I call them, asking for manager. Not available so they took my name and number assuring me they'd call right after they were done with a conference call.
I waited. And waited. 2 hours later, screw it- go about our trip.
Call AGAIN on way home today and got the district manager, Denise.
She knew who I was and called me by name. It's almost 5 pm at that point. Never once did they call ME back.
Assured I would receive a full refund.
That $35 refund doesn't bring back the time lost doing things with my daughter. Or the physical pain endured, worrying if I'll crap myself.
Lots of pills later, it finally subsided.
DO NOT GO HERE. TAKE IT AS YOU WILL, BE SMARTER THAN ME. IF THERE'S NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE DURING SPRING BREAK, THERE'S A VALID REASON!
I do appreciate Denise issuing a refund but man.... it was far more costly with time I'll...
