Do not think of Kilwin's Ice Cream as a place to only get ice cream, it is a place where you should take a moment to enjoy all of the sweet things that life has to offer.
I was in the downtown Branson area, a place where a city planner took the idea of a mall and spread it out into a larger outdoor space. Walking down the main stretch, this sweet, sweet scent caught my attention. At the this time of day, the Kilwin's staff were making some chocolate fudge in their store. The fragrant concoction was pulling in people who wanted to see what exactly they were smelling.
Walking into the store, there was a lot to take in. Ice cream in the back, various fudges in the left, and an assortment of candies in the other parts of the store. The staff got excited when they saw customers come in sniffing the air, which was a nice surprise as customer and employee got to bond over the experience together.
I only got a few chocolate bars, but my companions all left with something sweet. Ice cream in chocolate covered cones and others with ice cream in cups. This is a pretty neat place to go to, but make sure you sneak some veggies in before...

Disappointed that this location allowed a pet dog inside while we were there. Very off putting!
Emotional support animals in public places are getting out of hand everywhere!
We love animals and have a wonderful mini-poodle. What we DON'T do is take her inside establishments and act like its ok.
Another Branson food establishment posted a sign which I will be using for my own business. I believe all businesses (especially food businesses) should utilize a similar sign.
Emotional support animals ARE NOT service animals! Management everywhere has to assert themselves with these pushy pet owners who think they can do whatever they want and no one will speak up.
Not everyone loves my dog or your dog. Patrons everywhere should not be forced to deal with you pet!
See sign from Scooters Bar and Grill below. Way to...
Read moreI went into this place to get Ice cream and a carmel apple. Stood in line to get ice cream waiting for a family in front of me to get done. Another group of people walked on the other side of the line, they were helped and I was ignored, so, I went to the other counter to get the carmel apple thinking it would pass enough time to wait on the other people that cut in line and were being helped. I went back to the ice cream counter to wait and 2 more people went to the other side of the counter and were helped. I was still ignored. Not cool at all. It was my birthday and I was just trying to get ice cream to celebrate with my wife. I don't reccomend this place and will not be coming back. I own a small business and customer service is very important. Sadly to say this was the second time today that happened on the Branson Landing. You all might want to get it together. It isn't even the...
