McDonald's — Restaurant in Branson

If I could give this McDonald's zero stars I would. My family and I went to this McDonald's for the first time on a Saturday night around 9pm. We just went through the drive thru for some snacks and drinks. Got in line and we waited. After about 10 minutes of hardly any movement a manager came out and yelled to all the vehicles in line that it would be at least 30 minutes wait. Since we were blocked in on the inside lane there was no escape. So we sat and waited. When we finally got up to order things seemed to smooth out. Until we got to the first window to pay. The gentleman taking our money was asked what was taking so long and he just shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. OK whatever so we precede to wait for 5 minutes at this window. Meanwhile, instead of maybe helping out the food people he takes a bottle of probably cleaner and wipes the wall by his register for the 5 minutes we are waiting. That seems productive. Finally up to the food window which takes another 5 minutes. We asked the lady running this window what was taking so long and she claimed that three people walked out on them. There was at least 6 people working while we were there, and that we could see. It was seriously unreal.

We were leaving town a couple days later when we stop in for breakfast. The place is filthy! No tables were clean and the staff was very slow. Since they bring your food to you here, we decided to tell the lady who served us our food. We asked her to send someone out to clean up the tables and showed her that all the ones around us were dirty. She didn't say a word, picked up a tray on the table behind us, went behind the counter and checked out for break, not notifying anyone that the dining room was filthy.

I don't normally do this but man how yall mess up this bad? Came through to get my usual, two double cheeseburgers with cheese nd Ketchup only and a dr Pepper. Not to bad or hard at all, but when I got the burgers they had everything on them, no biggie, got back in line, told dude at the speaker what was up, literally just came through and when I got to windows one of two the manager was pressed about my receipt and me not having it but told me to pull forward regardless.. so I did, talked to the younger dude at the windows and he was cool as hell, asked me for the burgers back (both untouched) and right after the manager comes up to show me my order and how "it wasn't put in like that" and proceeds to argue with me over it. It's a buy one get one for a $1 sandwich. Literally $5.41 after taxes but the cost to them is next to zilch. Not only was I surprised by that but when I got my sandwiches both patties were inedible and small due to how overcooked they were. I don't know if I pissed the grill cook off or what but this is my local mcdonald's, sad to be treated this way after years of service from yall. The organization running this place should take a deep hard look at their staff. I've been in management, it's much easier to eat the cost to make the customer happy especially if it was your mistake to begin with. Hope this review is seen and taken seriously. If you hate your job, work somewhere else but don't take it out on your customers.

Edit: 24 hrs later, no response or outreach. Sad state this mcdonald's is in and the people who manage it seem to be careless. Plus, sit in their lobby and listen to how they talk to their subordinates, it's amazing you guys have any staff at...

Our order # was 270 on 07/14/2025. This was the most horrific experience we have ever had at a McDonald's! I asked for a Mocha Frappe, but the person was not paying attention and input a Carmel frappe. We ordered 2 cheese burgers with only ketchup and 1 plain hamburger with only ketchup and a double quarter pounder along with fries and 1 large drink, 3 medium and a water. He did not give us a water glass and we had to wait for 10 minutes to get a glass, the water dispenser did not work, nor the powerade. The 2 cheese burgers came out with mustard and cheese that looked a month old and hard on the edges. The buns were so hard it sounded like knocking on wood when you tapped them. The the plain hamburger had the same old cheese on it and the double quarter pounder had only 1 hamburger patty. It took 20 plus minutes and the employees were rude, no one knew what to do and the manager is included! They were not overly busy. Fries came out soggy and cold! One employee was talking bad about another employee, 2 people at the frier seemed to not understand the process and took forever. My husband could not get them to come to the counter to get them to correct the issues. He had to stand almost behind the counter area to get someone to look and then they yelled at him for going back so far. We told them they gave us the wrong kind of frappe, and the replaced it with another Carmel frappe! This is the worst ran McDonald's we have ever seen. Not worth the money nor the time. They never offer a sorry or refund just seemed angry that we were not happy with what they gave us like it was our fault! BEWARE OF SUBJECTING YOU FAMILY AND TIME IF YOU DARE TO GO TO THIS PLACE!
