I had left my husband and children in the car instead of going through the drive-through because the drive-through was backed up into the road. Clearly, they were busy. I waited patiently for 15 minutes. Then, I noticed other patrons who had come in after me and ordered at the counter getting their drinks while I was still waiting. I asked the barista for an ETA on my drinks and she couldn't find my order. She told me there were 22 other orders in queue, but she could put my drinks (that had already been paid for) in line behind them. I asked for a refund. I was upset and called my husband to let him know the situation: essentially, my order had not been placed into their system. I'm not sure if she was just trying to stop all the other customers from rioting in case their orders hadn't been put in or what, but the same barista that not 2 minutes earlier told me my drink wasn't in queue already tried to gaslight me and told me that my order had been put in, and she was just busy and had 50 orders in queue all day. Read moreI started frequenting this Starbucks probably a few months ago. I must say, I am very impressed. I have not once had a bad experience. The workers are always so friendly. I love that they consistently write fun things on my cups. :) I need to start reading nametags because a few shout-outs definitely need to happen. But all in all, I can tell the workers truly enjoy their job and want to make a great experience for their customers. Recently I went through the drive-thru, and was planning on ordering a salted caramel cream cold brew. Unfortunately, they were out of cold brew. But what made me laugh was how personal my order taker was. She said, "Unfortunately we are out of cold brew. You just missed it, it was BANANAS out here," or something along those lines. Reality? Read moreHad one of the best Starbucks experiences, made it feel like a personable local shop! Talon, Ivy, and especially Christal at the window. I ordered the Oleato and since it was new I didn’t know if I was going to like it. Thankfully they knew what they were doing and knew what to expect based off customer feedback. It was a carefully crafted drink, but not my style. She said it would be more of an acquired taste and that she had added a few things to make it better. She was nice enough to have Talon make me my favorite drink as well as give me a sample of her improvements. A much better and balanced taste. Again. Don’t get this kind of experience at most Starbucks stores. Will definitely be making this one my default. Some cool people here...
