My daughter and I went to the West Side Bazaar on a whim today. We decided to order our dinner from The Cookie Jar 716 and were not disappointed! We split one of the most delicious cheeseburgers we've ever had flavored to perfection, a side of french fries, and tasty fried green tomatoes with a perfect little side sauce for dipping. We each got the homemade lemonade and that was out of this world. We sat in the shared space at a clean table for two and were served our drinks and then wonderful peanut butter cookies for dessert. Where do I even begin? The haddock fish was out of this world! Every bite was pure magic. The southern soft food flavors were absolutely bussing—perfectly seasoned, melting in your mouth, and leaving you craving more. It’s like the chef captured the soul of southern comfort food and infused it into the most tender, flaky haddock I’ve ever had.

The mac and cheese, the cornbread, the fried chicken and fried fish, all absolutely fantastic. The french fries are huge and crispy and seasoned and perfect. I went home thinking It couldn't get better, then had one of their cookies on the ride home and proved myself wrong.

The food is incredible.

It was a bit of a wait (As is generally the case in west side bazaar, that's not unusual), but the food was fresh and hot and we even got a free cookie for our patience.
