2C Wine Down — Restaurant in Caldwell

Establishment was clean and staff and patrons were friendly however we didn’t have the best experience when it came to karaoke. The KJ was unable to keep the rotation straight and even forgot a few of us a couple different rounds despite turning in songs. Individuals you could see he was friends with were singing multiple times before some of us newcomers sang a 2nd time. He said it was because “one of them had travelled from out of state to be there.”

Most recently, our friend was in the restroom on the phone with his wife telling her about issues with karaoke happening that night. After returning from the restroom, the KJ (not owners or behind the bar staff) came to the table and TOLD our friend to leave. Kicked out a sober man in his 70s for seemingly hurting his feelings. We go here for karaoke, and they have a ladies night karaoke to approximately once a month but we’ve been here quite a few times on a Saturday night for karaoke ! Such a fun atmosphere arrival if you want to get a table ! We always order individually, but I also buy a bottle of wine for the table and if they charged me a corking fee, it wasn’t very much, so why complain about that ? Yes, the wine is a little more expensive, but I also can go over to the wall and pick out whatever I’d like and that makes me happy and I get to share ! Love the atmosphere !
