The restaurant is great, clean and doesn’t look as nice outside, but it’s very cozy inside, especially for Cocoa area where service isn’t that great and not many options to chose from, but we were very lucky to get Josh, he is friendly, welcoming and very attentive. I think if I would had the blonde older lady I would have walked out of the restaurant and my rating would have been extremely different than what I gave here. Pizza was really good, the lasagna was ok and wings and garlic knots had a really good flavor, however even though we understand they are greasy, it will be nice to maybe try to drip the grease a bit before serving or something that you don’t see tons of oil on the plate, but the taste is was good, for sure flavor isn’t an issue.
However I would like to go back to the blonde lady who seems to be the manager and if she wasn’t she gives orders to others like she is, but she isn’t pleasant, when we walked in, there was a younger blonde girl who was leaving for the day and as she greet us and ask how many was in our party, the other lady came over and said you are going home right? And she replied, yes, I was just greeting them, then she seat us by the first table at the entrance when there was only two more tables in the restaurant and I asked if we could get something not by the door, to which she replied that was the only option because the server in the rotation was assigned to that table. I certainly didn’t want to argue as I am sure other tables would have been an option especially because 3 other tables walked in after us and they were seated by the boot and were I asked to be seated, but there is always a positive outcome out of a bad thing, thankfully our server was Josh, and not her, because that lady seemed very unhappy and customer service isn’t her strength. The last drop that filled the cup and made me realize I wasn’t overreacting and confirm how unpleasant she was, is when right before we were leaving my son cleaned some crumbs from the table with his napkin and he got up and walked towards her and asked her where a trash can was and she looked down to him like he smell bad and left his hand extended. I had to ask him to come back to the table and just leave it there and she replied, yes leave it there.
Lady!!! You need to look for another job, you aren’t enjoying working there, I wish I had your name, but if I was the owner of that place I will certainly look up now, you can see who was in the shift tonight around 8:45pm, she seemed to be the only lady. KUDDOS to Josh who despite of been new it’s pleasant and kind, he makes the place nice and special. I won’t rate the restaurant bad because there was more good than bad, but that lady has to go!! For the good...
Read moreFound this great Italian restaurant by pure luck last year. We could not wait to return this year and enjoy all that Papa Vito’s has to offer. We were shown our table right away a 6pm on a Friday night, which was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress was quick to take our drink order and shortly after our food order. Everything arrived fresh and in very good time. Perfect amount of the me to eat our salad and let it settle before our entrees arrived. I had the Seafood pasta dish with their awesome marinara sauce….or as they say Momma’s sauce. We also had their amazing pizza and lasagne. I love all of the staff!!! They work together and look after anything they see that needs attending, even it it isn’t their table. I spoke to the manager and commented on how great it was go see the staff work as a team. She stated they try to impress on them the importance of providing great customer service. Which they do and beyond. The best part of the entire experience is the pricing. With two glasses of wine and two beer, plus two pasta entrees. 3 salads garlic knots and a two topping pizza, our bill was only $87 with tax!!!!! Unbelievable value. Wish I liv d in the area, I would eat here at least once a week. Things are even better priced at happy hour. Check out the website and you will see what I mean. In comparison to pricing. We had dinner earlier in the week at another Italian restaurant nearby and it cost me$140.00 for a very similar meal with only two alcoholic beverages. Do yourself a favour and eat here. I can absolutely promise you won’t find...
Read moreWell we decided to try again.. Our last visit the Pizza was overcooked, really burnt on the bottom. Which has always been our favorite pizza place. Today for my husband's lunch hour, he ordered Italian grinder toasted and I ordered Italian salad w/philly steak.. The table behind we overheard them not happy, a man sitting next to us at the bar had to ask for his salad After he received his lunch entree. So I get my Salad, I cut/prep it.. No sandwich for husband still, 8 to 10 minutes goes by, our server ask did we get the sandwich, duh, now it's 20 minutes till 2 and hubby only gets an hour!! She comes back to say my salad was put in as a appetizer, what in the hell does that have to do with the Sandwich??? Which was NEVER ordered much less MADE, so sandwich and salad had to packed as a Togo order. Hubby not Happy with No Lunch!!! My salad had one little slice of tomato, 2 tiny cucumbers, most of the lettuce was the hard middle/end pieces for $8.95 what a joke!!! Our server Chenell also told us we didn't have to Tip her so she clearly only concerned about her tip and not making any adjustments to our bill to make up for her not ordering the sandwich from the beginning. And not "our server" but one behind the counter kept staring and us like she hoping for a confrontation from us, very stern look on her face, made for an uncomfortable experience for sure... I think we're Done!!! Very disappointed because it used to be one of our favorite...
