Went here a couple nights ago with a buddy after surfing all day and having some drinks at the pier. I really wanted tacos, and my buddy said this place was decent. I ordered a 3 chicken taco asada (grilled chicken) dinner, with cilantro and onion annnd no radish 🤔 (apparently they put radish on it, but it's big circle slices that can be easily picked off if you don't like radish). I also had a number of margaritas and our server Killian was excellent! She told me she had only been working there for a week, but good thing she was working there, because she was very friendly, attentive, and nice. I had asked her if they had chille for the rim (didn't really want more pure salt on the rim seeing as how I had my fill of salt surfing all day) and she happily obliged. They didn't have a little chille dispenser plate, so it looked like she went a little out of her way to sprinkle the chille on a plate and make mine like that for me 👍 All in all good food and drinks and nice clean style and atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, i didn't take any pictures of the food because i was really hungry and chowed it down right when it showed up.

Heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try for lunch for the first time. They did NOT disappoint! I walked in and was immediately seated. A server came soon to take my order and I was given chips and salsa. Salsa was good. I was really surprised to see that this place offers the Horchata drink on their menu. This is a rice milk drink that I only was able to get when I was in Chicago. I ordered a guacamole appetizer not knowing what to expect. The portion was BIG and instead of the usual mashed guacamole, theirs is full of big chunks of avocado! Very good. I ordered the Super Lunch special for only $8.25. I didn't think it would be that big, but boy I was in for a shock!! Unlike La Catrina in Cocoa Beach where they seem to be skimpy with their portions, the portion is HUGE here! For $8.25, I got 1 enchilada, 1 burrito, 1 big quesadilla and 1 taco plus rice and beans. I ate the enchilada and burrito and rice/beans but couldn't even touch the other 2! Food was tasty too. I've been to all the Mexican restaurants around here and now this place is my new #1. Be sure to check this place out!!

As the great Bo Diddley told us, ‘You can’t judge a book by lookin’ at its cover.’ This unremarkable looking restaurant is located in your average strip mall. But appearances can be deceiving which we learned. Big time. Interesting interior with lots of photos of Latin movie stars, not crowded. We admittedly had low expectations and figured we’d just have a couple of margaritas and maybe guacamole. Only one other couple and they were preparing to leave; a single server gentleman, and that was it. The ritas were chilled and tart, the guac was a surprise. Big surprise. Chunky, fresh, tasty, lime tart, and perfect with the spicy salsa. We attacked the guac, ordered another round of ritas, and chose to try the ceviche. Another wonderful surprise - shrimp, onions, tomato, cilantro, mango, habanero, tart lime juice. The texture and taste were sweet and deep and rich and flavorful. This savory, rich, spicy dish was both a surprise and a delight. Highly recommended! Do yourself a favor and visit Salsa Cocina.

For the first time I am so disappointed. The clerk at the counter had absolutely no hospitability what so ever. I entered the restaurant and he did not greet me and shoved a menu in my direction after I indicated it was a to go order. I make my order but changed my mind on an item. Apparently he did not hear me, granted I am wearing a mask. When the order is $41 I viewed the order and asked him to remove the item I originally asked to be removed. He, with disgust, said, "Oh my God," as he waked pass me. I tried to apologize when he returned to finish taking my order. He told me that if the kitchen started making the order I would have to pay. The order wasn't completed. Why would the kitchen be making an incomplete order? I paid for my food with cash that he placed beside the register and not in the register. I ordered JUST tacos and ceviche. I never wanted beans and rice. I never do. He never asked what kind of tacos and feeling so very awkward I forgot to mention that I wanted steak. My order finally arrive at the front and I leave. I get home and I have 2 orders of beans and rice, ceviche, chips and salsa. NO TACOS!. I call back and was asked if I paid for the tacos. I am livid but I keep my composure. Now I have to drive back to get my tacos. The wrong tacos!! They were terrible and so was the salsa that I normally love. Salt or something was missing from the salsa. I threw the tacos, and the chips and salsa away. I have gone to this restaurant often and NEVER have I had such an experience. I supported this restaurant during the beginning of the virus when everyone else was closing. The flan that was given for my troubles was good. It was my first time tasting flan. Basically I threw $27 dollars in the trash. I don't think I will be going back. I can take my money else where. I hate writing such a review but the person at the front needs to know that customers are valuable. Especially those of us who live here. Without kindness, you don't have loyalty. Without customers, you don't have money, a job or a business. Sadly, on to the next...

My husband and I had our first visit at the Cocoa Beach location (we usually go to Titusville) last week. As always the food was excellent. The atmosphere was a very pleasant upbeat friendly one, just what we enjoy and during our meal, two birthdays were celebrated which the staff made really fun and exciting not just for the birthday people but everyone. The service was outstanding, we would have had to wait a few minutes to be seated as it was busy but a young lady by the name of Amina greeted us, checked how many in our party, got two menus and seated us. We were extremely happy as my husband goes in for back surgery soon and can’t stand for very long. Amina didn't see he was wearing a back belt so it was obvious when we chatted with her later she treats all her customers the same, that’s very commendable.Once seated a young man came with nachos immediately. Then after giving us a few minutes, not too short, not too long, Amina came to take our order. Amina had great listening skills, our order came out perfect. Plus she kept our drinks topped up. Amina checked on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything. I have to say I’ll travel back to the Cocoa Beach location to eat just because of the service Amina gave us and I will request her again. Lovely, pleasant young lady who does a great job. I wish her all the best as she told us she loves working there and worked there previously and had recently returned. If I was the hiring manager I would not be letting her go anywhere. Thank you...

Dined here tonight from the recommendation of family, who are locals to the area. The service was incredibly slow, it took over 15 minutes after being seated to be met with a server for drinks. The food came out very quickly after ordering, however the portions are small for the price you pay. The margaritas were not up to par for us (we actually had better margaritas at a pizza place up the road!!). We paid our $73 bill with cash and when we got our change back, the bill magically changed to $81 and had an $8 beer on it that we never ordered!! Before we could even tell her the issue, she took the receipt leading us to believe she does this regularly!! Instead of telling us that she needed to get a manager to open the till, she continued to serve other patrons and avoided us. Had she come over to tell us the situation, we would have understood, but instead she wasted 10 minutes of our time by giving us dirty looks. Meanwhile one person in our party asked what the hold up was and she rudely said she needed a manager and returned to what she was doing. For that unnecessary tone alone she lost our tip, and return business - and put distaste in our relatives eyes, who are locals & regulars. I would stay away from here unless you enjoy slow service and swindling servers. I’m...
